  • @dfdf03 @dfdf03 The mirror is part of a silvered sphere.

    The point in the center of the sphere from which the mirror was sliced is known as the center of curvature and is denoted by the letter C . Sometimes a figure of 2F (Twice the focal length) is used at this point. My site (cyberphysics.co.uk) gives more info on naming the points on the 'concave mirror page' - path - main page - light - mirrors
