  • he just chucks it in there leik a dead animal

  • i always wanted to make some ramps but them in the back of the truck with the blade moved foward of course have a mini cooper in th back ram the bank by the safe and open the back pull out the ramps and drive off.i think the mix of the 120 degree az summer heat, along with the $7.50 cents an hour and trash fumes got to my head.the day i cam up with that one

  • then the driver comes out and me and the other guy throwin trash are on the ground with our ears ringing

  • ive crushed safes, yamaha rhino roll cages.rims the only thing she couldnt break was this im guessing castiron flywheel some kind of 50 +pound gear that when i was commin down on it the hydralics kicked out and i engadged them and heard the truck bogg down and then the giant gear flew out and the the packed blade the fell and slamed the whole truck i swear bounced in the air and there was a huge hole in the hopper from the flywheel /ger thing

  • @budensity Goes to show you a RL, not even a Leach, can handle anything. Cast iron is strong...very strong. Depending on the size/wall thickness of the safe, I question whether a rear loader can damage it. If it's thin-walled, then yes but if the walls are thick I doubt it. There are videos of tanks rolling over some safes and them being intact. I would say those types of safes would stop a RL, even a Leach.

  • I know they're hard working little guys but they make them work alone on routes in this city?

  • @allahgoatlover Thats is a shame. Here in CHicago, they want to make the garbage trucks "one-mans." But I feel its too strenuous a job for one laborer to do it alone. Because not only does that one laborer have to do what he's doing in the video, he also has to clean up any debris that either he or the residents leave on the ground

  • RACK TRUCK FOR LIFE

  • slow but strong.

  • Geile sache

  • i like pie

  • OMNOMNOMNOMNOM!!!

  • dar jik sofan

  • I love the old leaches. My home town has 2 leach 2rII's and 2 heil 5000. All 20 yard bodys. The city had to put the heils on recycling duty already. The leach packers can take anything shoved in their mammoth hopper. One heil was stopped dead in it's tracks by some pipes some on put out on the unlimited pick up week. That was a hefty repair bill too. I have never seen a leach stopped. And even though the leaches both have 12 years on them they still pack a better load.

  • Still love to watch these old trucks!

Do you know of any old Leach RLs still operating in So Cal?

  • @DisposalAlternatives I do not off the top of my head. I live up in Oregon and my buddy and I caught this truck on one of our hunts

  • Very nice! These Leach packer controls really suck. The to levers are much better. Hope you get another RL vid soon!

  • must be a newer truck not like my 89 and 85 but still a good vid the blade and compactor are slow

  • that is a very large hopper

  • this video is boring i mean why cant zgeroux show a pillow being crused in this truck im very very sad

  • good thing you can spell....very very sad...

  • Great job. We had an old 1 arm Leach like this at WM... man I hated that truck. I probably would have liked it more if the packer control actually worked properly.... So it's nice to see how the single control is suppose to work! You've renewed my faith in the single arm Leach ;-)

  • why did you have to throw away the cushions of the couch first?

    why not crush them together?

    i mean the 2nd one

  • You can notice the truck is fairly old...... it Has one blade arm " The One Armed Bandit.'

  • what do you mean .

  • What i mean is now a days all leaches have 2 standard Push in bars to make the Packer blade run this one dosent It only has one.... AKA "The One Armed Bandit"

  • damn that truck could eat a small car like vw beetle or a mine cooper or something small like that

  • are there any leather couches video ?

  • i love the old skool trucks they are solidly built 5 starts rated

  • Nothing spectacular about the sound of this rear loader. The McNeiluses our city uses sound better than this truck anyday.

  • Its all about the old school skippy...its all about the old school

  • Calm down turbo...if ya don't like the video, no one made you watch it...just trying to explain why some people like it...some sounds are more attractive to people than others

  • That's what you call a ROAR!!!!! Love the classics and their unique and loud as engine sounds... definitely something that makes them so awesome. Cool to see a Burrtec RL, even cool to be seeing some Burrtec footage (pretty much the same as EDCO aren't they?). The Leach does a pretty good job with those couches considering what it's age must be... like the two angle mixes as well =] Nice footage Zack n' Bill.

  • Great to see a EDCO/Burrtec RL! Awesome footage

  • Five stars. Nothing beats a refuse truck devouring furniture. I've noticed that even people who aren't into refuse trucks will stop and watch when they see something like this going on.

  • EXCELLENT VIDEO 10* !!

  • That is a KICK ASS truck! That's how every rear loader should sound in my opinion. That sound reminds me of the old Dempster Route Kings that North Valley disposal used to use up in Chico before they were bought out by WM.

  • That huge blade is made for this!

I never knew that Burrtec had Leach.

  • i have never seen a rear loader that operates with a single lever before, cool stuff dude!

  • Packer maybe slow, but backpack any mean load than any RL on the Market!

THE LEACH RL IS THE BEST THERE IS, THE BEST THERE WAS & THE BEST THERE EVER WILL BE! LONG LIVE LEACH!!!! 5 STARS!

  • i never seen that truck before by me all i seen are the golliath trucks

  • nice i like leach rls a lot .have you sean the conrad models of them .he had quite a load about another 4 tonnes and he would have been full

  • Awesome!

  • Awesome video!!!!

  • awsome dude. THERES NOTHING BETTER THAN A FUCKIN LEACH. 5 stars and a fav.

  • nothin can beat a leach!

  • they are nice trucks with those huge beefy cylinders!

  • only you would know

  • Noisy and brutal - cool ;-)
