legendary- REAL FUCKING MUSIC Simon Cowell et al- the only Pink we like is the floyd- Lizzy rule, gary moore rules, motley crue rule & first and foremost the mighty MAIDEN rule.
pink? Rhianna? Justin queer boy, Maroon5?!!!!!!!!!!! THE PLEBS NEED TO LEARN WHAT REAL MUSIC IS!!!!!!
@SuperDannyb1975 ONLY to add to the list, Scorpions rule (more the 70es Scorps, but the 80es are good too), Uli Jon Roth rules (check this guy out, one of the best guitarists/musicians EVER to live), Jimi rules, Zeppelin rules, Stones rule, Janis rules, GN'R rule, Bon Jovi rules, Blackmore rules, Purple rules... and many other TRUE musicians rule :) and not the SHITTY so-called "rock" and "nu-metal" and "pop" and other shit, no man those are for garbage cans!!!
when was this video done? does anybody know? it's the first time I've ever seen this video this song has to be one of Thin Lizzy's best songs ever besides the boys are back in town and jailbreak. But this song will always remain legendally R.I.P Philip Lynott and Gary Moore you and Thin Lizzy did well you should all be very proud of what you did and the music you brought to people troughout the world.
@shaniaisgod I agree and disagree. I think that they are the best musicians ever and they rocked. The rock-music had its best period at that moment so they were in the perfect time. Too bad that I could'nt see them play, 'cause I was not yet born!
@MrAndrewhayes I know, i still have tears for him everyday, since his funeral, I saw him play ack in 1978 in london. PHIL COME BACK we all miss you. xxxx
Words can not and do not express just how incredible this song is!!!!! What A team...Phil And Gary! Thin Lizzy should be in the Rock 'N Roll Hall Of Fame...PERIOD!!!
Its so sweet the music these two and company could make together.I am grateful for all the gifts they have given us musically, its my pleasure to have heard from the best.
Wow, that really was something.Pure class. I don't think it's overplayed at all, I can't remember when I last heard it on any radio station. It's still a shame about Phil.
Well, maybe 'Parisienne...' was influenced by Santana's song 'Europa' which had been a huge hit in Europe just a year or two earlier. Gary has always reminded me of a more technical, more intense Carlos Santana.
I guess it was recorded in 1984, during Gary's Victims of the Future tour. This version of the song is also on the We Want Moore live-cd (or at least it sounds very, very similar). Unfortunately the cd-booklet doesn't tell where the songs were recorded. Anyway, awesome performance!
