Hi 001GenLee, Yeah I saw the shark recently at my local Toys R Us, I have to admit I think its pretty cool. As far as Helicopters, I've got my heart set on a Double Horse Volitation Helicopter from Xheli online. I've seen it in action and it can be flown indoors or outdoors. its a nice size copter for beginners like me. they have it for $49.95 at the moment, but I have not yet ordered it. check it out at their site. search for 67h-9053-VolitationHeli
I'd rather have the Good Year blimp like you have in the video than that scary Air Swimmer Shark! LOL .....I recently bought the shark and it scared me sh*tless, the first time i blew it up and it stared at me. I've got it back on ebay too...it's WAY Too realistic! LOL Much rather have the Good Year blimp or an r/c helicopter to fly indoors.
there were a guy that would make fun with me once with an airship like this and then i just took my blowgun and shot it down you should have seen the guys face XD
Thats great ! I think Helis and Planes are awesome, but they are too costly for me. not to mention you need large open areas to fly them and alot of knowledge.
haha i used to have one of these! My aunt and uncle got one for me for my birthday a few years ago....but it ended up getting a huge hole in it after i left it deflated (ugh im so iresponsible i swear XD) it was really cool! im actually an aviation enthusiast and love blimps!
I would have to say that it was about 5 to 7 days before I needed to add just a little bit more helium. In general, once it's filled the 1st time, you only have to give it a touch of helium every few days to keep it firm. I had mine going for well over a month with one small disposable helium tank I bought at my local party supply store (of-course, that included the initial fill which takes most of the helium in the tank). It's the tank kit that comes in a box complete with balloons.
LOL Yes I'm a bit of a rhubbish pilot, but it's not hard at all once you practice a bit. I do pretty well, but in that video I was flying it in a fairly small area and trying to kep in in the cameras view, so like Murphys Law, everything was going wrong. Maybe I should have someone hold the camera next time. It's GREAT if you're planning to get one. Unfortunately you can only fly it indoors. and the helium refills add to the cost of owning it. Mine is back in it's box now!
These look amazing!! But what's the idea with the helium refills? is there a certain type of shop you need to go to to get it refilled or can u buy your own cannisters?
I know, the helium is a pain in a butt unless you know of a place to get refills. Party Supply stores sell disposable tanks. That's what I used on mine and got about 2 refills with 1 tank. The ship stays filled pretty well for about 2 weeks.

It's pretty easy to fly with enough space and a little practice.
