The Video is heart touching, really loved it. As of now my sister and I are cancer free this year. We are blessed. But there is still so many persons that are not so lucky. My daugther in law's mother was diagnosed with cancer for the third time. My prayers are with her , her family and everyone with this illness. Songs like this remind us we are not alone. Thanks
I sit here tonight of June 19th-2010 with tears in my eyes because I was told I had breast cancer back in 2008 and had my mastectomy. In June of 2009 I found another lump in the same area I had my breast remove which means more treatments of radation I had 20 treatments and once again believed I was cancer free. I am now into June of 2010 and was told on June 11th-2010 that my breast cancer had spread to my lungs and I now have lung cancer back to the drawing board with more chemo treatments.
@BettyK1958 I'm so sorry for what you're going through. I lost my Mom to b/c when she was only 49. I was diagnosed with it March 16, 2004 & have gone through many of the same things as you. My heart goes out to you, please know that you're in my prayers. Stay strong, but cry when you have to, laugh when ever you can! Best of luck from a "sister in pink".
I wish pink was just a color, but for so many people it isn't. My aunt was diagnosed and had a successful battle. My grandmother was diagnosed in '08 with breast cancer and survived. She was rediagnosed with it again this year. But this time it is much more aggressive. I just hope and look forward to the day when "Pink Is Just A Color Again." Thanks for posting.

I was diagnosed after my 40th birthday in 2008. My mom was just diagnosed last week...She was diagnosed 18 months after me. I have a pink ribbon tattoo and on it I put "Me" & "Mom" and then I told my sister there was no room on the ribbon for her so she can't get it! Thanks for the song and the video. I don't have cancer, it doesn't run in my family, and have been fortunate enough to only have experienced one loss of a loved one to breast cancer that spread too quickly to be stopped, but one is still too many. I thank you for this song. I was diagnosed at age 27 with stage 2b breast cancer with postive lymph nodes i was cancer free for five years until september when i was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer with mets. to lungs and lymphnodes. I have come to terms with my terminal diagnosis and I am learning to take it one day at a time.
TY so much for this! My mother is dealing with breast cancer for the 2nd time, this time it has come back with a vengeance and is stage 4 terminal metastatic. So far, only spread to her lymph nodes in a 2 year period and has stayed put. Believing God will heal her yet!!!

OMG this made me cry. My mother was diagnosed in 2003, and as she was wrapping up her reconstruction I was diagnosed in Dec. 2004, bi-lateral mastectomy and chemo for me. In 2005 both her and I went to the Run for life, and held hands up on stage. I don't know how it must feel to loose your mother to this horrible disease, I'm certainly lucky we were both there, together, as survivors.
Thank the LORD the Lord has been good to me I was face with breast cancer at the age 27-28 young and free and having the time of my life. The illness took me by shock! I was 9 years cancer free. In 2004 my cancer returned and the Lord Bless me again and I am now a 6yrs survivor. So I say to you all keep your head up because ,every thing is going to be ok L.G..Parker

The Susan G. Komen Foundation treats survivors like pure gold. Get involved and participate in a Race for the Cure. You will meet many of your sisters there. Survivors gravitate to one another because we have all been there.

Thanks so much for this song even if it made me cry. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in August 08- I had a full mastectomy on Sept 3-08 and now going through chemo treatments. I am cancer free now. If it wasn't for the stray cat I found and took home 11 years ago, who found the lump when she jumped up on my chest and stood on the left breast where the lump was, I probably would of found it to late. The only thing I hate about cancer is I lost my hair.
I saw this on the morning news this morning. My mother has terminal cancer, and it recently showed up in her breasts. We are hoping for a cure one day, and also hope that one day "pink will once again be just a colour". Thanks for the beautiful song and touching us all.

I sit here tonight of June 19th-2010 with tears in my eyes because I was told I had breast cancer back in 2008 and had my mastectomy. In June of 2009 I found another lump in the same area I had my breast remove which means more treatments of radation I had 20 treatments and once again believed I was cancer free. I am now into June of 2010 and was told on June 11th-2010 that my breast cancer had spread to my lungs and I now have lung cancer back to the drawing board with more chemo treatments.

@BettyK1958 I'm so sorry for what you're going through. I lost my Mom to b/c when she was only 49. I was diagnosed with it March 16, 2004 & have gone through many of the same things as you. My heart goes out to you, please know that you're in my prayers. Stay strong, but cry when you have to, laugh when ever you can! Best of luck from a "sister in pink".

I wish pink was just a color, but for so many people it isn't. My aunt was diagnosed and had a successful battle. My grandmother was diagnosed in '08 with breast cancer and survived. She was rediagnosed with it again this year. But this time it is much more aggressive. I just hope and look forward to the day when "Pink Is Just A Color Again." Thanks for posting.

I was diagnosed after my 40th birthday in 2008. My mom was just diagnosed last week...She was diagnosed 18 months after me. I have a pink ribbon tattoo and on it I put "Me" & "Mom" and then I told my sister there was no room on the ribbon for her so she can't get it! Thanks for the song and the video. Brought tears to my eyes.

This is the most amazing song I have ever heard. I wanted to use it at a fundraiser for breast cancer in October, but couldn't find it. I finally did again and would like to use it in our Relay for Life for the American Cancer Society. It is truly beautiful!
I am so sorry for you loss. She must have been a truly amazing woman to have a child care this deeply about her!

I don't have cancer, it doesn't run in my family, and have been fortunate enough to only have experienced one loss of a loved one to breast cancer that spread too quickly to be stopped, but one is still too many. Not fully understanding a "real" loss of someone with cancer, this song still brought a flood of tears, emotions, sadness and hope, what a wonderful song! I'm sending it to everyone I know!! Danielle

I thank you for this song. I was diagnosed at age 27 with stage 2b breast cancer with postive lymph nodes i was cancer free for five years until september when i was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer with mets. to lungs and lymphnodes. I have come to terms with my terminal diagnosis and I am learning to take it one day at a time.

TY so much for this! My mother is dealing with breast cancer for the 2nd time, this time it has come back with a vengeance and is stage 4 terminal metastatic. So far, only spread to her lymph nodes in a 2 year period and has stayed put. Believing God will heal her yet!!!

This is so beautiful. My friend died of bc last year. I do everything i can to make sure everyone is aware of bc . may God be with all survivors and those who have passed away as well as their families and friends.

This is a beautiful song... It makes me cry everytime I hear "but her mother is still with her as a picture on her shirt" because that is how my mother is still with me as pictures and memories. She passed away from breast cancer 3 years ago. This is for all the survivors and those still fighting. Stay Strong

OMG this made me cry. My mother was diagnosed in 2003, and as she was wrapping up her reconstruction I was diagnosed in Dec. 2004, bi-lateral mastectomy and chemo for me. In 2005 both her and I went to the Run for life, and held hands up on stage. I don't know how it must feel to loose your mother to this horrible disease, I'm certainly lucky we were both there, together, as survivors.

Thank the LORD the Lord has been good to me I was face with breast cancer at the age 27-28 young and free and having the time of my life. The illness took me by shock! I was 9 years cancer free. In 2004 my cancer returned and the Lord Bless me again and I am now a 6yrs survivor. So I say to you all keep your head up because ,every thing is going to be ok L.G..Parker

Thanks so much for this. Mom is in the final stages of terminal cancer and is fighting to hang on. She was first diagnosed with breast cancer over twenty years ago and has been spreading the word on awareness ever since. Now that the cancer is back with a vengence, tt's been very hard on the family and this song has helped to give me the strength I need to help her through her remaining time. Your song is beautiful and inspirational and I plan to share it with evryone I know.

I only got to keep my mom for 2 years after diagnosed, some people get never, be thankful that you have had her, I know the disease is something that kills all involved but love your mom, trust me, without moms, this world would be a disgrace, God Bless you.

Inspiring, amazing, emotional. This is an absolutely incredible song. Breast Cancer, and all cancer's affect almost every person in the world, we need to stop this. I cried at this, after my best friend's dad died, after beating cancer 5 times, he lost the fight. RIP.

Dear Kal, This morning I had the privilege of hearing you sing this song live on BigDog 92.7. It made me cry because ti was so moving. As a survivor of breast cancer, I want to thank you for this video. To those who are still battling, I know what you are going through but take heart...there is a light at the end of the tunnel. The Susan G. Komen Foundation treats survivors like pure gold. Get involved and participate in a Race for the Cure. You will meet many of your sisters there. Survivors gravitate to one another because we have all been there.

Thanks so much for this song even if it made me cry. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in August 08- I had a full mastectomy on Sept 3-08 and now going through chemo treatments. I am cancer free now. If it wasn't for the stray cat I found and took home 11 years ago, who found the lump when she jumped up on my chest and stood on the left breast where the lump was, I probably would of found it to late. The only thing I hate about cancer is I lost my hair.

I saw this on the morning news this morning. My mother has terminal cancer, and it recently showed up in her breasts. We are hoping for a cure one day, and also hope that one day "pink will once again be just a colour". Thanks for the beautiful song and touching us all.
