That makes no sense? I never said the making of the 2nd movie was a waste of time, I loved both films, I was just saying if they brought Nuala back (which would probably result in bringing Nuada back) then all the build up and ending of the 2nd one wouldn't have been good if they just intended to bring them back...
@xMasqueradeAngel68x i dont' think so bc nuada body got destroyed nuala's body was complete. anyway hellboy could have brought her back to life for a short while w/ his charm thingy but it wouldn't be the same. oh another movie possibly coming out won't be a waste but it will be a continuation of the first movie w/ the nazi guy...

Well, in the original series by Mike Mignola, Abe does recieve a spear to the chest. So you never know. Depends on how much of the original series Guillermo wants to incorporate.
Hopefully there will be a third movie. So far as I've heard, it's been a bit up in the air. The third movie for the animated Hellboy has been okayed, but it won't have Abe or Liz in it, only Hellboy, Kate, and Lobster Johnson, for any who are familiar. ;D
Yeah it's something to do with Hellboy facing an Archangel and Kroenen and Rasputin are supposed to be back in it. I'm sure Abe will have a good part in the new film :) x
They wouldn't kill him off, I doubt they'd kill any of them off, look at the Harry Potter series, they said a "main character" would die, but Hermione, Ron and Harry still all lived in the end. I don't think they could do that with the Hellboy saga it would be too unjustified and in a way Hellboy and Abe are immortal (and looking at the injuries they've both taken anyway and come through absolutely fine I don't think they would.)
