I am a follower of my own God and though i do not follow satanism i do believe that many of their rules and so forth do Not go against god. it is the idea of being your own god as well as practicing magic that goes against the christian god. also even within the christian tradition, science, physics, through aristotle was an essential part of the christian universe and learning, the methods of scientific investigation with galeleo and newton derive from this
