  • Great show. Great contestants. Back when flight attendants were stewardesses, and beautiful.

  • If I could be on a game show that is no longer on the air, this would definitely be one of them

  • @AJBSONIC You & me both. I definitely wouldn't mind taking a crack at TJW. In fact, I liked this format better than when it was brought back in the '90s (no longer as Barry & Enright but a Kline & Friends production). I'd say if another revival of this show came along, the producers should stick with the original format and NOT do away with the "Face The Devil" bonus game.

  • one of my fav games shows...they should try to bring it back

    on the game show network..

  • Okay...I know this sounds wierd...but how come I see IGT getting the rights from Sony to make the Joker's Wild into a casino slots game.

  • Bullseye win music.

  • bl-bl-bl-bl-bl-bl-bl-bl-bl-bl-bl-bl-bl !!!

  • jack barry was one of the best gameshow hosts

  • I don't see these Joker's Wild game shows anymore. Only here on Utube is where you'll see them. What I also miss about it is the theme song playing, the host & his players, the bonus round, the music playing in the background while the announcer describes the prizes, everything. How is that compared to Jeopardy, Sale of the Century, all those other rare or current game shows? Why would people dislike a revived old school game show? Were there any of special shows like, couples or mom/dghtr?

  • Thanks. I love TJW. Watched it as a kid growing up in the 1970's and it is where I learned to count money. Watching the bonus round. Another great example of how good GSN was when it was Game Show Network.

  • Charlie O did a good job announcing a lot of the shows he did. RIP, Charlie.

  • Thanks for posting this episode thewhammy83. BTW, blanquepage has this very same episode except his copy has the GSN display of the tape date of "Taped Aug. 1982" in it and the mid-episode fee plugs were omitted as well.

  • He probably taped it during the dark period. The practice of displaying tape and recording dates at the start of every episode ended when the G-T shows returned, except for the black and white shows.

  • Thanks for uploading these TJW episodes.

  • Chuck Woolery can handed out more $100 bills than Jack Barry, Bob Eubanks & Bob Barker.

  • You're probably right, there were times on Scrabble when contestants were constantly winning with those blue and pink squares.

  • @32rodrick what about Bill Rafferty, Jim Lange, Jim Peck and Bill Cullen?

  • @tnawcwvictoria Don't forget Tom Kennedy on his "Name That Tune" version. I've always been wondering how bills of each denomination did Jack carry in his hand, and also why didn't Wink Martindale didn't do the same on Tic Tac Dough.

  • @tvtimetravel He did, but only during the Dragon Finder Audience Game, but he also didn't do that on the CBS version of The NEW Tic Tac Dough, but I guess either Barry & Enrignt or The Winker came up w/the idea, but I'm not sure, but Winker did give out money on Trivial Pursuit during the Audience Game and also, Jim Perry even gave out money on $ale of the Century on NBC and syndication, not sure about his version of Card Sharks

I can understand not handing out money on Bullseye & Hot Potato

  • @32rodrick But NEVER more than Monty Hall, who probably is the King of handing out bills of ALL demominations during his nearly 4,000 episodes of LMAD
