Iran is very mountainous country with high average elevation and catches heaps of winter snow. Skiing is excellent here, prices cheap and hardly any tourists. Hospitality and food are awesome as well. Please come! Iran will welcome you.

I just wanted to add that Iranian people know how to deal with their "oppressor" government. the fact that the government in Iran puts limitations on its people should not be used in anyway as a justification for use of force against the country! The biggest thing that the Iranians agree on is: " no foreign intervention in Iran ". And I wouldn't compare Iranian gov. with Saddam or for that matter any other arab dictatorship!

The iranian people are friendly and really nice they done care if youre a muslim or a jew or if youre anything else. They dont hate kurds and other kind of people. Now there is always some haters in every country i can admit that. But The iranian people are friendly.

I agree...my exposure is limited but every Iranian I have come in contact with is EXTREMELY intelligent, spiritually advanced and, yup, friendly. Granted the uneducated poor may be different..but that group is generally alike in all countries. And, much of that is the fault of the inequality in each country's economy.

There lies the true fault. I don't know current stats but in '02, 40% of Iranians were below the poverty line. That's alot.
