History of this water doing Tawaf of Hazrat Abbas (as) shrine goes back to the times of imam Zain ul abidin(as). It is said in books that once Imam Zain ul abidin(as) visited the shrine of his uncle Abbas(a.s) and saw furat water. With tears in his eyes he said to river furat " today i see you making splashes every where but that day my uncle couldnt have any of this water for sakina and got killed" later that day this miracle happened and water started doing tawaf of gazi's shrine

According to my knowledge...it is the water from NEHR-E AL-QAMA...a tributary of river Eupherates (Darya-e-FARAAT)...

Since hazrat Abaas was martyred st the banks of this river, so it is probably the water of this river...

Nevertheless the video is exactly as my Grandmother saw it in real 40 years ago...I went in 2002 and unfortunately they dont let ordinary people to go downstairs at the real site
