When we tried to develop Hibernia they raised the interest rates to crippling levels for 10 years and punish us in secret for trying to be energy self sufficient. I live in Canada and our dollar got strong... but they are ripping us off because imported food from usa should be getting cheaper but the price of onions went from 58 cents a pound to $1.29 a pound in a little over a year. It's robbery! Our gas doesn't match with the global oil price either they are charging us $1.15 a liter when it should be only 80 cents. They are purposely creating the recession by inflating the food and gas prices to the point that people have less money left to spend.
