Republicans like McCain and Bush don't care about our families or our safety. Look at that fat goose up there blowing smoke. He'll look out for special interest no matter what lies he tells up. Whatever war monger. Go have a triple bypass and step aside liar.
I voted for Bush & voted for the war. Most Americans at that time did also. I'm a military brat, I also lived in germany growing up, I can tell from living on base and living in the german community that we have to help out Iraq & finish our deal. It helps our standing in the world. Our army & all of us made this sacrifice & this decision & we have an obligation to see it through. Were not always going 2 B there, that much is certain, cause certain groups dont want us there.
@ 2:30 in this vid he mentions Alternative energy, very clearly. Earlier this year it did make headlines in the Arizona Republic that 4 big solar companies backed out of a deal slated for az & went north to oregon. McCain is our state senator & he knows we need it.
Iraq, were almost done cleaning up that mess. I've voted for Bush & supported the war, even to this day for many reasons. Were all held responsible for that, every citizen is held responsible even though we now know it was partially wrong. No WMDs but there were al queda camps there. So if U go to amsterdam, london or tokyo, whether U voted for Bush or not, U will get eyeballed down because ur an american. Im tellin U, weve been there for this long, we shudnt give up.
Then we'll be planning for spending in another country when we need to focus on our own country now. We're in debt. We should try to pay back at least some of the debt, you know. Why pay for something you don't need?
& Yes McCain does mention using alternative energy. DUDE I live in AZ. I'm telling U the issues over here are solar panels. Recently in the paper, several Big Companies backed out of our state & went to Oregon of all places. Why? Because of tax reasons. Az has the electronic conductor infra structure to help build the panels, but businesses R shying away. Our Gov. Is Tryin 2 Get More Exposure Here. I aint lyin, google it.
you tell me when he said about alternative energy, cause I haven't heard him yet. Maybe I haven't heard him. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.
All I know is where I live, FL, it's sunny as hell in the summer, and all the other seasons too, so it would make sense that FL would be the best state to start solar panels. But that's just me, I guess.
One of the serious issues about solar panels is that, Az. is right next to california, which has over $36 million people. There is a quiet energy confrontation between our states. Me & Alot of Arizonans dont like payin over $150 each month, just to stay comfortable because it so hot, let alone taking care of personal equip. Alot of people here Inluding our governor Janet Nap. R tryin to make it easier for us to getit.
U know, in a smart way not to waste time, McCain does mention the middle class. He doesnt have to come out & say it over, over & over. Because it gets stale & overused. I like to write resume cover letters and practice grammar. So using certain words & other phrases 1 can make the same arguements over the same topic, just using fresh speech to make valid punctual points. These guys R smart, I'm sure they culd teach english grammar like nothing.
These guys R on a time limit when they have to debate, so overusing words can take up alot of time. To me he's obviously talking aout helping out everyone, the rich really dont need alternative energy. Like hillary said"no matter what we'll be fine."
obama plans on buying the assets of the failing wall street firms but what they fail to mention is the inflation factor they will purchase it by making more money thus stealing money from you and me by dropping the value of the dollar in your pocket. the republicans have a much better plan that does not require the purchase of the assets and if the firms get themselves out will cost us and the government possibly nothing
Yeah we need renewable energy, nobody disagrees on that. But the simple fact that the automoblie industry is not even coming up with plans to start that operation. There Is No Infrastructure Yet To Get Off Oil Overnight. So saying Oil is outta fashion is stating the obvious. Were going to be on oil for a long time. We need oil for everything. Think about it, everywhere U look, Oil. Drilling for oil is a step in the right direction, Like It Or Not.
But John does not state in anything that I've heard that we need to make it so we are not dependant on oil. We're not going to do that overnight, I know, but we need to start preparing for it, and all John McCain says is drill more and more oil, that's all im sayin.
Oil is out of fashion? The combustion engine has been in fashion for over a 100 yrs. and your just now making that breakthrough statement. Drilling for oil, is a stepping stone in the right direction, thats the connection McCain is trying to make, You can't change the auto industry over night, because your talking about changing mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and the entrepreneurship of building the automated machines to do all this. Were years behind on this.
Obama opposed drilling of oil because oil is not in fashion anymore. It's not safe for the enviroment. You need to stay in touch with the world, McCain, and start building the future for the younger generation. What's that? You don't care about the future? God, please help this wretched man, he can't think straight! Does he have Altziemer's?
I think Obama has a better platform than McCain does. But I don't -hate- McCain. I don't think he's absolutely horrible. (this is relative though I suppose... George W. is who I'm comparing to)
BUT Sarah Palin IS absolutely horrible. And she could very well be the next president of the USA. And -that- is a huuuuge problem.
I like the McCains honesty when he says "some of our money ends up N terrorist organiztions." It sux very much that, that has to happen, but atleast he comes clean and gives honest remarks on whats going on. I'm not being biased when I say this, but I have never heard Obama say, "We or I have made a mistake and will do better in the future."
Obama has said that we should end the war. That's pretty much saying that we NEED to do better, not this crappy promises that we "will do better next time." We have given Bush two terms to correct his mistakes; I don't see one mistake corrected yet. You tell me one thing he's done right over his eight years. Nothing comes to your mind, eh?
I'm so sick & tired of people blaming Bush. Look, everybody gave the go ahead Bush to go to War, thats the fact, Were All Held Accountable For That Mistake. Thats Not Bushs' fault, not the republicans, democrats or anybodys'. Everybody was sucked into it, Wake Up! Im not trying to put down Obama. Its just a simple fact. Over the past 7 yrs. we've been cporrecting our mistakes, This isnt Hollywood crap, or fantasy politics. Alot of shit led up to this. Clinton is responsible too.
Another thing lazyrobbie, we have to have allies in the world so we can depend on them to help us out with resources, networking, trade. If we dont fix our mistake in Iraq, dude, were going to look like the assholes who spilled the milk & wont clean up the mess. I'm an independent, I'm just giving my 2 cents of what I'm seeing on this debate. McCain is clearly making valid points. I'm not easily swayed by bullshit promises that Obama is making.
Well, you're entitled to your opinion, but I think that Obama is our next president. He wants change for the middle class, and that's what I am considered, so it all sounds good to me. McCain never talked about the middle class in the debate parts that i've seen yet, so...... that's a problem.
We're fighting for nothing. That's what we're fighting for, and making our solidiers sacrifice their lives, and for what! God knows what, but I don't think Bush or McCain does! lol
As for Wall St. To Be Quite Honest, No One Knows Whats Going On Over There, Seriously. We can all hope for the best, but I can tell you that some govt workers have stock in wall st., although there suppose to B safe investments, 1 does have the option to move their 401k around so they can gamble if they want to. When a program like that was implemented, who knows?
Actually, Obama doesn't refer to McCain as Jim. He is addressing the moderator, Jim Lehrer (you can see Jim's name displayed at the beginning of the video "09/26/08 Presidential Debate (1 of 10)").
So, Obama addresses Jim Lehrer first, as "Jim", and then continues his talk with McCain, calling him "John". The two names are said close together, so it just looks like Obama got the name wrong. Obama is very, very sharp, and not given to such fumbles.
Perhaps the solution would be to make Obama President and McCain "Miss Congeniality", and then everyone would be happy. McCain has complained and hinted enough times that he hasn't yet got that apparently coveted title.
"We are winning in Iraq", McCain says. And what about the Iraqis? Are they winning anything?
"Is it going to affect you" is a bit of a stupid question to keep pushing on. Only Obama actually answered precisely, and McCain just doesn't want any gov't money to go anywhere except killing people abroad?
i love Jim Lehrer right now.. when he re-asks his question around 3:12 i laughed out loud.. i could literally hear the frustration in his tone

Your right about solar panels in FL.
I dont know if anyones researched it yet, but solar panel technology has increased in effectiveness twice since 2003.
