@Eldererr Correct. In fact I torture my cats and dogs every day with acid and fire... because they have no soul, they are not aware of anything. They are basically robots here for our own entertainment. It doesn't matter what the "animal rights" retards are saying. What I believe is enough for me. Don't you agree? They have no soul so they don't matter, right? Also Chimpanzees, screw them.
@koevsky No, Eldererr should see a philosopher. He's philosophically challenged. The same way Descartes was actually. All that nonsense about who has souls and who does not... It's not something to have opinions on! It leads to dangerously immoral conclusions due to incompetence...like those of Descartes.
This all sounds nice. The book was interesting but I'm not sure. There is no way to do a proper study of his work because he has Dr./patient privilege. We can not interview his clients and we cannot review the tapes from beginning to end. This makes it the perfect hoax. Not saying it is but it is impossible to disprove.
@Vargasf7 . I actually went to one of his trained hypnotherapist in PA and nothing really happened. It reached the point where I felt guilty for the therapist. I can't help it wonder if the same thing happens to people and they make things up; or ideas are implanted while they are in a hypnotic state. I could certainly be wrong but I think rather than just give repetitious interviews about past clients, Dr Newton should allow himself to be interviewed by someone that would...continued...
@walker36100 From what I've learned about hypnosis I cn tell you that you have to believe that it is actually possible in order for it to work. It's all about believes. they could plant some ideas yes, but I don't think that it would be possible for something as big as past lifes, feelings, experiences, to be created or manipulated in a subject.

@walker36100 ....continued....ask very specific question and possibly have his technique tested by skeptics and NOT folks that are LOOKING to see or experience something. Not trying to be cynical, just looking for the truth like most of us.
Is the thing which writes this text MY soul? Councious ME is ME? How much Ill be able to recognize myself in the next life? I dont want to loose any part of my current form and character if you understand what I mean.
I was always curious what is happening after you die.I don`t believe in Church and God, but now after i read Journeys of Souls i realized that there is something which we people call God and using this power to brainwash people as Church is doing for thousands of years and that made them the most powerfull organisation in the world. Thanks for this, i really do believe this is true. Now i am not afraid anymore that i`ll be gone.
How fortunate to discover Dr. Newton's work in this lifetime. Working as a kind of spiritual detective, I arrived at similar knowing through desire (since age 4), intention, meditation, research & interviews compiled in my guidebook, SEND LITE TO EVERY FEAR (online booksellers). Dr. .Newton's affirming research came into my awareness just months ago & fills in wondrous details, some never-before-heard. I immediately read then re-read all 4 books. Thank you, MN. Patriczia Petrus, author,
@PatricziaPetrus Oh I know! I totally agree! I feel so lucky. He believes this is his mission in this life. His books have totally changed my life in such a positive way.
Gospel of Thomas - 84 Jesus said, "When you see your likeness, you are happy. 2 But when you see your images that came into being before you and that neither die nor become visible, how much you will have to bear!" ....
I wonder about the REAL reason for Constantine, Nicea, Oracles of Origen/whoever - for leaving writings like these out of mainstream "religion"(?)
Can someone explain the connection with evolution and souls? I don't really understand it, if our souls are eternal, how can we then explain how we've developed from simpler forms of existence? :)
@warmsteel It's true, the Evolution of Species was actually the Evolution of SOUL ITSELF. SOUL is a Unit of Divine Awareness. SOUL starts out in the Mineral State, as it develops, it's moved higher into Plant Consciousness (plants respond to love, anger, prayer etc.) Then, SOUL leaps to Animal Consciousness incarnating from reptile to mammal to primate etc. Then, SOUL QUANTUM LEAPS into human State, from primative to modern to ENLIGHTENED! Then, SOUL GRADUATES and doesn't have to come back.
For the questions about reincarnation and karma. Lord Buddha has found the answers on his own since 2500+ years ago. And he also found the way to stop the cycle of reincarnation as well. This is not a miracle or supernatural thing. It's pure natural and always be true for every beings in this universe. He told us whether or not he exists, the truth is still the truth. He was just the one who found the real-truth and could explain to the others.
@jOWNZin22 Well since souls have always existed and reincarnated, then the soul of just-died-at-5 will make it self look like 5.But you got to remember that WE have existed forever...we have no such thing as `time`, our body has time.
@jOWNZin22 Michael Newton says that souls appear as a wisp on thin light. But they can change their appearance to anything they were the previous lives. I'm not sure they can change it to just anything. But souls do pick the body they want for their next lives, even though the soul may think the body might not work for em.
Who is `me`? The thing which is typing this, is it only a biochemical reaction?Who am `I`?The thing which is talking-e.i ME- is my soul?My behaviour,personallity-is it me?How am I going to see myself after death? As myself. Can body exist without soul?Or body is just a tool for ME-SOUL- to express myself?
@Eldererr Science has never been able to prove where the ME is in the brain. They've answered a lot of questions but they are still searching for the ME or I. I've read that it's you who tells the brain what function to carry out to your body. If you tell your brain to lift your arms up, that's what the brain will do. That's all I know.
@6x9Kamasutra There is nothing wrong to practice Buddhist techniques and philosophies as a way of life. Gautama Buddha was able to end the cycle of life and death while most of us will be here as humans/animals for maybe another thousands of years. Why not take a short cut if one can. I am thankful to all the great teachers ever visited us.
Sincerity isn't a measure of validity. Advanced degrees won't protect someone from the wrong conclusions. It can help filter out common pitfalls in deducing what is fact from what is not. The side pain client could also be an amateur historian, seen a similar patch on tv, a theater, a museum exhibit. Dr. Newton could have unintentionally lead the client's description of the patch etc. How the questions are worded can profoundly effect the information elicited. Especially in hypnosis.
@gambitx4000 - I am not sure about that. Way too many weird things happen after some people do life regressions. Like a pain that disappears or getting the answer to an issue.. from another life. Brian Weiss for example was completely closed to the idea of past life regressions. After his patients 'forced' him to try it on them, he couldn't help but come to the reality that there is definitely something going on 'behind the curtains' and completely changed his point of view. Read his books...
My mother passed away in August. I was led into her room in the hospital. I arrived too late. I went in and looked at her, and realized this Being was actually an old friend. She'd agreed to play the role of mother in my life, and I'd agreed to play the role of daughter in her life. I was so amazed, sitting there in the hospital room. I was crying, laughing, praying, chanting. I felt very satisfied that she'd made it. I felt like celebrating for her! I still feel this way, I know she's my friend
@ThePunisherNWO Then your life is pointless. The very reason why are you alive is pointless. Then theres no difference between my blowing my head off and you living to 80. Because in the end all that experience and memories of you will fade away. Keep on living with the idea that you and all your relatives, friends and kids exist without a reason-unless you count breeding. You`re just skin and bones.
I've commented here before but I've read three of his books now, and while reading them you get a feeling, like a real feeling, that what he is saying is true. He and his institute have had like over 6000 cases or something now and they have all told them the same thing about the afterlife when under hypnosis. Regardless of the information in his books, the guys overall message is to be loving and follow your heart, something all of his clients told him while they were under.
What's interesting is that he keeps looking toward the right. That could be a sign that he is searching for creative answers as he speaks. Which means, what he is saying may most likely be fabricated.
that's an old and backdated theory. it could simply mean he is looking away from the camera and lighting to focus on his own thinking, not necessarily looking away from reality to make up something.
@timerty ok. Well anyway, my friend who is a psych nurse practitioner thinks he's legit. I actually had a past life regression reading done with one of the therapists he trained for LBL hypnotherapy. It was interesting...I'm not sure how someone who is supposedly fake could be teaching other people the same methods he's been using. i saw things I couldn't explain...but who knows--maybe I'm lying too!!
@Kinkoyaburi I've not read any of Michael Newton's stuff, so I can't really comment on the scientific rigor of his work, but I can recommend Helen Wambach's work as having a reasonable degree of scientific rigor. However, your request to see names and audio records etc are hardly likely to be met due to privacy issues - you ask for too much!
@rasjidw Then everyone can write such book. In my opinion, this guy has just read too many books on the subject of reincarnation (he admit in his book he has read them) and decided to make his own version with a new twist - hypnosis! Watch the money roll in! This book is a fiction. He probably alleviates his own guilt by convincing himself that his little sci-fi book helps people to deal with the loss in their family, and brings hope to others. It may be so, but I find the book distasteful.
@Kinkoyaburi A true skeptic has an open mind, is open to looking at all the evidence available, and is willing to change their view on things if the evidence requires it. However, it seems that you have made up your mind on the topic and are not really interested in looking at the evidence available. Oh well. I wish you well.
@Kinkoyaburi If Michael Newton's book was the only one on the topic, and there was no way for you to explore any evidence yourself, then I would agree with you. But there are many other books about re-incarnation, and at least a few (such as Helen Wambach's) that are clearly based on work done with a high degree of scientific rigor. Michael may or may not produce any hard evidence in his book (I have no idea - I've not read it), but either way there are plenty of others that do.
@BushidoCode72 As I mentioned in a earlier post, I highly recommend Helen's Wambach's books on past lives and between life research. Having now read one of Michael Newton's books, and can say that her work is significantly more objective and impartial than Michael's (has more of an academic flavour), but would generally support Michael's message. Other authors are mentioned at Wikipedia (see Ian Lawton article) that could be worth following up.
@BushidoCode72 The real answer of course is to do your own research. Go and have a past life regression yourself - nothing beats personal experience.
You will also find that pretty much any alternative therapy that uses some kind of 'regression' technique to deal with childhood trauma will result in a significant number of people who at some point spontaneously recall a past life, even if they themselves do not believe is them. (This is true of 'The Journey', and I'm other techniques as well)
@BushidoCode72 One last comment: I strongly recommend that anyone looking to explore their own past lives (even it it just out or curiosity) do so with someone who is qualified or at least highly skilled at dealing with any trauma that may arise. To people who have never experienced anything along these lines, it can just seem like a game or something fun to do. But it is possible that you will recall something traumatic, and if so, you *will* need someone who knows how to help you through it.
@Kinkoyaburi michael newton was a well off doctor he had more to lose than gain by writing his two books. he wants to share his findings with the world. he is now an elderly man and still sticks to his claims so to me he seems like a very honest genuine man. nde,s are currently being investigated by dr sam parnia who will release the first of his findings in 2 years time. dr pim van lommel in holland has come to the conclusion that nde,s are real after reviving many patients.
@The22clowns I do not doubt the NDE's as aphenomenon. At least some of them has to be true. I am a believer so to speak. I just find Michael Newton's version to be sketchy and not very believable. If I was questioning all those "patients" I'd have so many different questions about everything, but he's always guiding them and asking only: who's greeting you, how did you do in your life - basically everything that supports his "space college" idea. N

I think this is BS. This guy just claims and claims and has no scientific proof at all. I want to see names, medical examination results, brief history, psychological evaluation, audio records of the sessions. Where is all of this? Advanced souls and stupid souls. You die and still NO EQUALITY?
@Kinkoyaburi I only believe because it was done on me and the evidence the person presented they could have not known because I didnt tell them. This person was able to see family members who had died and close friends and was able to go into detail about their life. I didnt do the hypnosis, i did energy work instead. Check this lady out named Sherrie Dillard. Just google her.

Past life regression has been proven to NOT alter behavior. This is the typical sensationalism that causes people to distract away from dealing with there problems, Thats why you can get Jerry Springer and other sensationalists to become involved is a subject like this. Sell a lot of books, gets yourface in front of a camera... solves nothing. Less than 1 % of hypnosis clients automatically drift into a past life.

I read a couple books by this guy ... Very fascinating ... He does hypnosis therapy and he accidentally brought someone to a past life... Then he started exploring through different subjects the time they spent between lives...
I was familiar with Newton's work when I watched the ending of the TV series "Lost". The ending made me think of Destiny of Souls because of where the main characters ended up in the finale. They were a group who were deeply bonded on a soul level and they reunited in the afterlife. I don't know if the writers were familiar with Newton's books but it's interesting to see the parallels.
@musomannz When I watched the finale, it coincided with my reconnecting with someone I'd had a large falling out with. I felt a real sense of relief that night, but I wasn't sure if it was associated with the show, or something more. :) (I was sobbing during that finale - it really got to me.)
I pray every day for the Lord to take me out of this living hell.....
I have been regressed; I THINK I've worked off Karma in this life; but now I am 63; worn out with 4 back surgeries; and exsisting and not living; Dear Jesus please take me home?
@Greenhornet270 people are to quick to call life on earth a living hell. remember, we count our miseries carefully and accept our blessings without much thought.
@GlesgaRangersBouncey I understand what you're saying, but some people go through so much that I'm amazed they haven't checked out sooner - real survivors that I admire (most of my painful experiences pale in comparison).
@hopena I agree with you. I do suppose its easier said than done. however, i have also read dr newtons work ( both books ) and it would be a shame for someone to check out and have to go through a similar life again. could you please inform me of how your regression went? I am thinking of having it done too!

I've been regressed before and it really does reveal why you are who you are today as many of your previous lives also add towards your personality, your fears, your skills and desires. I think karma also plays a role too. I have many talents that I did not learn nor inherited from family, when regressed, I found out I am an old soul who has lived many lives and I bought with me many of my previous occupations and skills to this life time. My career is in science so I was very skeptical before
I would say this is most likely demonic activity and something to be avoided. That's what hypnosis does, it opens you to contact with other spirits, many are malevolent and can manifest themselves in other ways. Just find yourself a Satanist and talk to them and they will point out that channelling spirits is not something you do for fun!
@karlkarlkarl1234 I disagree and "That's what hypnosis does, it opens you to contact with other spirits"is your opinion not fact...and demons in general is of YOUR belief my friend :) not everyone believes in that..so it is not fact...
I'm confuse my partner died 3 weeks ago and mediums say" they can comfort and see me" however Micheal Newton suggest these souls move on to other lives? So a Meduim tells me we will meet again in the after life but how can we if he has taken on another body and life back here????Can someone please explain???
@louleeroy I believe we're here to learn...and we go through many lives and learn more and more each time. And when we're done learning all we need to learn, our souls move on to the next life.
@louleeroy Not all souls or energies leave right away. Some stay behind to look out for their families or remain because they have unfinished business (I guess we call them ghosts). It depends on the soul. Also, many souls wait for their loved ones so they can be reborn together in another time. While they wait, the space they are in is what you'd call the afterlife. Some souls wait hundreds of years before being reborn.
@louleeroy I am sorry to hear that :( I hope you are dealing with that in a good way my friend...I just lost a loved one last month myself...About your question from what I have read,it all matters on the situation and soul..If you feel your partner still around I'd say their soul is still there with you :)
@louleeroy You should read his books--he explains how a lot of souls stay around to comfort their loved ones until they feel that it is okay for them to return to the spirit world.
@louleeroy I'm re-reading Destiny of Souls, and this is one of the first things addressed in the book. He says to go to something special - like a wedding ring, something that they loved, something they had a strong connection to, and that they could comfort you that way.. I'm not sure if that helps. He also says that a portion of their spirit stays in the spirit world, so that it can reach out to those on earth if they need them. <3
This gentlemen is the MASTER of life after death and what happens in the spirit world- "Journey of Souls" is a must read for any one remotely interested in this subject.
In my first NDE I was dead for three months....I was even cremated!
I still have my ashes.
My most recent NDE was last night.
I was travelling through a dark tunnel when I saw a bright light at the end of the tunnel....as the light got closer and brighter, I heard a roaring sound....I barely jumped off the track in time!!!
His books gave me too a whole new way to think about life. In fact it really changed my life, though it's a shame I can't remember my past lives. I just know it's the truth, that we reincarnate.
There is so much proof that we exist beyond this life. There is alot of research going on. Look at investigators capturing paranormal on type, etc. This is all related. People that think there is nothing more need to open their eyes. We are all inmortal and life this life for a reason.
@crystalrunez They changed everything for me as well...in a good way. You begin to see things and people as connected, which is very unlike the message you get from Christianity and other religions. We get the message from these religions that you either go to heaven or hell, which causes great rifts in our society and fosters the "i'm better than you attitude." What we really need is to work together and be there for each other, because it sounds like we will eventually end up in the same place
I had a past life regression before I had heard of Michael Newton's books, and it changed my life. There is so much that we do not remember and find hard to believe, but it's true, just be open to it. Reading his books have cemented things for me, I am no longer afraid of dying, I have let go of pain from past lives, and I am forever thankful.
Awesome!! :D I want to have a past life regression aswell! But since my whole family are atheists i cant tell them about it. :( It will have to wait until i get older.
Right now im 90% sure that there is a spiritworld and past lifes but i want it to become 100% That would be such a relief.
I have had several very vivid experiences of observing past life incidents during sleep. I was quite aware of the different ethnic identities I was such as being a black slave in ancient Egypt, and a Jewish captive by Muslims. The obvious lesson here is hatred for other ethnic groups is stupid, since we have all been everything so we would essentially be hating ourselves. I have some of this on YouTube (ozscribe2)
His books have changed my life! What I find so amazing is that the readings of Edgar Cayce and a book by Michael Connelly called "Spiritual Journey: Teachings from Another Dimension" echo what Newton has discovered. It's just too much to be coincidence. We are eternal. Plus I remember choosing between 3 different lives. It's my first memory of this life and I'm still wondering why I picked this one! lol No but seriously I do remember. I was shocked to see that others remember that too!
Very interesting, uplifting, and mostly needed to understand a process that religion has made great efforts to keep it from being delivered. Rating = 5 stars.
It is a very appealing idea, for sure. But care and skepticism is demanded here more than anywhere. The mind is scared of dying, it seeks immortality. It gravitates towards notions which comfort and insulate it. We have to ask probing, forensic questions here.
All you need is an open mind. Consider the memories of little kids remembering and validating past life memories, myself included. People of all races, religions, non-religions, and ages returning from near-death experiences, people who have felt or talked to friends on the other side through telepathy or "personal experiences", Out of body experiences, meditation, past life regression, etc.
Probing questions are needed, instead of a closed mind.
Yes, probing questions, but skepticism in itself is not a closed mind, unless it is perimeter control for one's inner conceptions of reality.
The "soul," or any form of autonomous self entity, is also an assumption being made. In this past life research, we see the reverberation of other people's memories and physical attributes into new individuals.
Does this inherently imply the concept of a "soul" ... or does it merely suggest the resonance of memory and physical form through time?
I do think that people would not be so interested in religion were it not for the thought of enduring death, of physical and self-permanence imparted by most major religious disciplines. It is the inverse of a biological fear of death, whether overt or subconscious.
The draw of this idea is immense. So I stress caution.
Yes; understand that generalizations are made on principle. Exceptions such as yourself are granted.
I might ask how one knows "God" having at some early point not previously met / experienced the entity before. Recognition is a mechanism that relies on parameters set by memory. So, how does one detect/recognize "God' per se, through the cognitive process?
But basically I was non-religious most of my life. I found "God's love" through an experience I had out of the blue when I put a cross around my neck and my body became engulfed in the most peaceful, warm feeling of unconditional love.
Since than I have had many other experiences, including regular telepathic communication with my soulmate friend.
My opinions are based from her, NDEs, OBEs, kids with past life memories (myself included) etc.
I suppose my question was that of the mind's ability to understand the concept of 'significance' itself. How the mind and memory attribute significance to experiences? It does gravitate towards perceiving the, atypical, coincidental or extraordinary as significant. I wonder the basis of the mind's cathexis in these things.
I myself have had several OOBE, very vivid, as well as unique existential feelings of 'unity' and 'otherness.' Yet I do not know what these mean in any basic sense.
I don't think I can give you an answer to that question. I am one of those people like you who have had some rather nice experiences myself and so am not generally concerned with the finer details of things. I got enough of what I needed to know.
I have only one question... how is it that all 6,000,000,000+ people of the world have past lives, when only 100 years ago the population was 1,000,000,000?
Hi abyssquick, Read Dr. Newton's book "Destiny of Souls" to find out the answe regarding 6billion people vs 1 billion people 100 years ago.. It is even better than "Journey of Souls" trust me and it'll give you ALL the answers that you're looking for.....Good luck with your own journey:)
It appears to me impossible that I should cease to exist, or that this active, restless spirit, equally alive to joy and sorrow, should be only organized dust -- ready to fly abroad the moment the spring snaps, or the spark goes out, which kept it together. Surely something resides in this heart that is not perishable -- and life is more than a dream.
Sorry I am trying to reply to an old message and keeps coming to the beginning. This is my second question: I have a birthmark, in my shoulder, identical to one my father has in his arm. What is that suppose to mean? Were we killed together?
It is rare for a father and son to share a previous life together - we choose our parents but tend to choose them for specific reasons - like providing a good base for study or progression in some field - so I think the matching marks are most likely coincidental. However - why not have a past life regression and find out ?
The soul continues from life to life and carries with it the memories of all lifetimes - these are turned off in early childhood but the essence of the learning from those lives is still felt
Wow! Fascinating! How can we make an appointment with him?

I can't help it wonder if the same thing happens to people and they make things up; or ideas are implanted while they are in a hypnotic state. I could certainly be wrong but I think rather than just give repetitious interviews about past clients, Dr Newton should allow himself to be interviewed by someone that would...continued...

Can someone explain the connection with evolution and souls? I don't really understand it, if our souls are eternal, how can we then explain how we've developed from simpler forms of existence? :)
warmsteel 9 months ago

He was just the one who found the real-truth and could explain to the others.

so if someone dies when they are five...what does the soul look like and same applies for any age...would a sould who dies at 90 look 90.
jOWNZin22 10 months ago
@jOWNZin22 Well since souls have always existed and reincarnated, then the soul of just-died-at-5 will make it self look like 5.But you got to remember that WE have existed forever...we have no such thing as `time`, our body has time.
Eldererr 9 months ago
@jOWNZin22 Michael Newton says that souls appear as a wisp on thin light. But they can change their appearance to anything they were the previous lives. I'm not sure they can change it to just anything. But souls do pick the body they want for their next lives, even though the soul may think the body might not work for em.

Especially in hypnosis.

gambitx4000 8 months ago

@Kinkoyaburi I've not read any of Michael Newton's stuff, so I can't really comment on the scientific rigor of his work, but I can recommend Helen Wambach's work as having a reasonable degree of scientific rigor. However, your request to see names and audio records etc are hardly likely to be met due to privacy issues - you ask for too much!
rasjidw 1 year ago
@rasjidw Then everyone can write such book. In my opinion, this guy has just read too many books on the subject of reincarnation (he admit in his book he has read them) and decided to make his own version with a new twist - hypnosis! Watch the money roll in! This book is a fiction. He probably alleviates his own guilt by convincing himself that his little sci-fi book helps people to deal with the loss in their family, and brings hope to others. It may be so, but I find the book distasteful.
Kinkoyaburi 1 year ago
@Kinkoyaburi A true skeptic has an open mind, is open to looking at all the evidence available, and is willing to change their view on things if the evidence requires it. However, it seems that you have made up your mind on the topic and are not really interested in looking at the evidence available. Oh well. I wish you well.
rasjidw 1 year ago
@rasjidw Exactly. There's no other evidence other than his words. Doesn't it look suspicious to you?
Kinkoyaburi 1 year ago
@Kinkoyaburi If Michael Newton's book was the only one on the topic, and there was no way for you to explore any evidence yourself, then I would agree with you. But there are many other books about re-incarnation, and at least a few (such as Helen Wambach's) that are clearly based on work done with a high degree of scientific rigor. Michael may or may not produce any hard evidence in his book (I have no idea - I've not read it), but either way there are plenty of others that do.
rasjidw 1 year ago
@rasjidw I would love to know more on the research done on this. I have read Stevenson's. But need more information.
BushidoCode72 1 year ago
@BushidoCode72 As I mentioned in a earlier post, I highly recommend Helen's Wambach's books on past lives and between life research. Having now read one of Michael Newton's books, and can say that her work is significantly more objective and impartial than Michael's (has more of an academic flavour), but would generally support Michael's message. Other authors are mentioned at Wikipedia (see Ian Lawton article) that could be worth following up.
rasjidw 1 year ago
@BushidoCode72 The real answer of course is to do your own research. Go and have a past life regression yourself - nothing beats personal experience.
You will also find that pretty much any alternative therapy that uses some kind of 'regression' technique to deal with childhood trauma will result in a significant number of people who at some point spontaneously recall a past life, even if they themselves do not believe is them. (This is true of 'The Journey', and I'm other techniques as well)
rasjidw 1 year ago
@BushidoCode72 One last comment: I strongly recommend that anyone looking to explore their own past lives (even it it just out or curiosity) do so with someone who is qualified or at least highly skilled at dealing with any trauma that may arise. To people who have never experienced anything along these lines, it can just seem like a game or something fun to do. But it is possible that you will recall something traumatic, and if so, you *will* need someone who knows how to help you through it.

I have many talents that I did not learn nor inherited from family, when regressed, I found out I am an old soul who has lived many lives and I bought with me many of my previous occupations and skills to this life time. I would say this is most likely demonic activity and something to be avoided. Just find yourself a Satanist and talk to them and they will point out that channelling spirits is not something you do for fun!

@louleeroy I believe we're here to learn...and we go through many lives and learn more and more each time. And when we're done learning all we need to learn, our souls move on to the next life.
jrat92 1 year ago
@louleeroy Not all souls or energies leave right away. Some stay behind to look out for their families or remain because they have unfinished business (I guess we call them ghosts). It depends on the soul. Also, many souls wait for their loved ones so they can be reborn together in another time. While they wait, the space they are in is what you'd call the afterlife. Some souls wait hundreds of years before being reborn.
Eyecandy4u 1 year ago
@louleeroy I am sorry to hear that :( I hope you are dealing with that in a good way my friend...I just lost a loved one last month myself...About your question from what I have read,it all matters on the situation and soul..If you feel your partner still around I'd say their soul is still there with you :)

I so want to believe this but i cant help thinking its all just wishful thinking bringing these memories on.

Very interesting, uplifting, and mostly needed to understand a process that religion has made great efforts to keep it from being delivered. Rating = 5 stars.

If what this man is saying is true [ i do believe him btw] then the theory of evolution makes complete sense.

Good point! What helps me is remembering "nothing (in this world) lasts forever"....Like the Merry Pranksters said, "Nothing lasts."

It is a very appealing idea, for sure. But care and skepticism is demanded here more than anywhere. The mind is scared of dying, it seeks immortality. It gravitates towards notions which comfort and insulate it. We have to ask probing, forensic questions here.
abyssquick 2 years ago
Not everybody is scared of dying.
Frogstomp121 2 years ago

Just a thought.
abyssquick 2 years ago
I myself come from the Bohmian / J. Krishnamurti type of religious thought. Hence my fundamental tenuousness.
abyssquick 2 years ago
I am not familiar with that.

I myself have had several OOBE, very vivid, as well as unique existential feelings of 'unity' and 'otherness.' Yet I do not know what these mean in any basic sense.
abyssquick 2 years ago
I don't think I can give you an answer to that question. I am one of those people like you who have had some rather nice experiences myself and so am not generally concerned with the finer details of things. I got enough of what I needed to know.

I have only one question... how is it that all 6,000,000,000+ people of the world have past lives, when only 100 years ago the population was 1,000,000,000?
That is my main question.

Heaven and Hell are states of mind.
Life is about spirtuality not religion.

Bekakaneka 2 years ago
It is rare for a father and son to share a previous life together - we choose our parents but tend to choose them for specific reasons - like providing a good base for study or progression in some field - so I think the matching marks are most likely coincidental. However - why not have a past life regression and find out ?
greynewt 2 years ago
I don't understand this: When you die you are supposed to remember all your past lives or only the one you just lived?
Bekakaneka 2 years ago
The soul continues from life to life and carries with it the memories of all lifetimes - these are turned off in early childhood but the essence of the learning from those lives is still felt
