I think its a great song - this version by the Ryan boys has fuzz guitar (by Jimmy Page I believe) and bagpipes mixing. Fabulous idea. From the golden music year of 1966 - I remember this being played on Swinging Radio England by the Boss Jocks!
Nino Tempo later claimed the Ryans was a direct copy of HIS version -0 but listening to the two i cant hear that. Billy Fury did this too

I like to two songs of Archiduques I think you must listen: "Quiero volar muy alto" and "Dimensión en sol mayor". Tino made a lot of versions of songs: "Life on Mars", "Eloisse", "Tal como soy", "Blanca estancia" and "No fuimos heroes";

Beautifull song, but i prefer spanish version, made by Archiduques: Lamento de gaitas.
The singer of Archiduques was Tino Casal, who versioned Eloise of Barry Ryan years after.
