  • @dicarlo57...You come across on the web as a knowledgeable car person. It's too bad that your inability to spell Tijuana tags you as illiterate and your writing about "jew bullshit" also tags you as a hateful jerk. If you are in fact proudly anti-Jewish, the least you could do is save it for the appropriate forum.

  • A rhino and the new "fuselage" styled Dodge. How befitting lol!

  • all this to the tune of "Do you know the way to San Jose."

  • How funny when he stands right in front of the rino with his camera

  • @Raudawg ..daytime driving lamps are the reason people drive around at night with no lights on. it appears that the lights are on when theyre not. that means youre driving with no rear tailights on. safe? also there are cases at night where you only want parklights on for example. this extra crap just means more expensive to buy, more to break down, and more headache than anything else. we get so used to everything being automatic that its more inconvenient and dangerous than it is good.

  • thats not a daytime running light, its a high intensity bulb developed by sylvania to assist the high beams.

  • Im glad 1968 is over, i couldnt stand listning to that tejuana brass/burt bacharac jew bullshit

  • Anyone who can't see a car coming at them in broad daylight doesn't need to be behind the wheel.

  • I second that...I hate having to replace light bulbs so often nowadays....you dont need those lights on all the time...if everyone turns them off think of the fuel we would all save

  • unless your driving a silver/gray car in the rain, you disappear in mirrors

  • Not so! On a number of mountain or desert roads shadows and heat mirages can and do make an oncoming vehicle nearly invisible. Sort of a low tech and unwanted form of stealth. It can be deadly when passing.

  • What happened to cars?

  • So that's "lavish" interior.

  • What's the title of that background music?

  • Sounds like Do You Know the Way to San Jose as played by the oh-so-groovy Herb Alpert or some other trumpet crooner. The Dodge Fever girl was pretty groovy, too. The cars, however were not--their sales were a big disappointment for Chrysler.

  • Ron Jeremey

  • Is that Ron Jeremy?

  • Wasn't meant to be a compact car.

It's a full sized sport luxury car.

I'd rather be in one of these than a compact car that would most likely end up being bug guts all over this car's grille.

  • I'll take the car.. and the girl.

  • My '70 Polara convertible had the "Super-Lite" option... it was just about worthless! No wonder they got rid of it!

  • Guess what, it made a comback about 10 years ago,.... Daytime running lights, just as useless. <G>

  • The Superlight was a "Mid Beam" It was sort-of an inbetween beam, brighter than low beams, but dimmer and aimed lower than the highs. Because of this, only one was necessary as it was turned slightly toward the center of the car. Quite an *ahem* bright idea for it's time.

  • That "super-lite" approach is intriguing - logically (and for reasons of symmetry) its surprising it wasn't fitted to BOTH sides...
