I'm the father of three girls. We need more of this! Thanks Ms. Robin. I love the fact that you're talking about how you came up and showing off your sounds at the same time. One daughter is starting on bass (Suzuki-trained violinist). I can only hope that the other two will give it a shot.
One of them is going to buy me a home in Malibu, I know it!

Of ALL the concerts I've seen from Joni Mitchell to Siouxsie & the Banshees and Chrissie Hynde---watching Janet always leaves me breathless! Glad I gave up playing when I realized I couldn't be as good as someone like any of these...
LOVE Janet's songs, playing, singing, her lyrics, her unbridled enthusiasm! She's greater than great!

I saw Janet perform in Florida back when she was opening for Colin Hay. She was fantastic as a performer, guitarist, and songwriter. I definitely recommend getting her CDs - great stuff.

So that's who that was on Lindsey's VH-1 vid of 'Go your own way'! You were born with a gift, girl. I Admire your diligence in perfecting your technique and virtuosity on the instrument. Keep taking care of the girls in reaching their dreams. WE NEED MORE FEMALE GUITARISTS!!! Especially lead. I'm tired of always watching men play their chops.
I hope you achieve all that you set out to do in music.
