I was just thinking, if your using custom motors to actuate movments, if you use large gear ratios and worm gears then the movement will be much faster.
Also see what current loads your motors can max handle.
More juice = more speed because the motor reves faster.
(more rpm.)

Wow! I'm so impressed with your flipper! I have never thought to use elastic bands to power them! I really want to see more of how you made it.
You should totally do a series too! Sure you've got some teething troubles, but don't we all? Everything you do should only get better the more you do it : )

3 probs whith that kind of fliper the bands brake the parts brake and thay rip themselvs apart

Yeah the rubber bands would break the parts if the robot was poorly built, but this battlebot is a solid, quality machine... heck all of them are!

Rhino can flip on a stone floor without an opponent, and there will be no self damage - but that took time. SharkAttack is more difficult
to manage.

I've always thought about doing something like this, but I guess you beat me to it :P
A flipper that powerful would also be able to rip apart poorly built robots, you have to make a series! It would be INSANE!
