With the set-up at that time I made around 403 hp's when other people seemed to have been making in the neighborhood of 440 +/- hp's and 509 with a 150 shot of NOS.
I did not have the correct matching components so it was very hard for me to tell a big difference when it was put in. Other people have had much better results than I did when they utilized this cam. I seemed to have lost a lot of lower end power but then again I cannot blame it on the cam because I did not seek professional opinion on the component set-up.
I've gotten rid of the crapmaster since this video. Currently no cats, 3 inch pipe going from mid car to back to the magnaflow muffler through two custom lighted dual tips.
At that time only around 380, but that's with only stock 317 heads, ls6 mani and stock tb's as well as stock mass. I have since upgraded a little and finally am over the 400 mark.

I just sold a 1996 T.A. which I had a Flowmaster on, no mods on it, I dont think I will go with another Flowmaster. It didnt sound terrible, but I am looking to get more of a sound like this with my new car. Not to mention the Horsepower. I have looked closer to Borla now. I have thrown out Flowmaster and Magniflo thus far. How many horses you got running on this car?
Pacesetter headers, no cats, 2 1 2 set-up. Flowmaster. One advice, NEVER go with flowmasters with these cars, you will be very disappointed like most of the people including ne have experience. Go with a borla or something.
i hate flows.. they are junk... i got kooks lts with kooks ory into a slp LM2 resonator with an electric cutout then to a stock muffler... its awesome when a cop pulls up next to me while im cammin and i close my cut out... he would never guess@!
Thanks xtreme2148. I have a lot to go before I get everything right. There was a bad ticking sound while they had it on the dyno and had to shut it down. Needless to say the dyno results were way far than expected but once I get this ironed out then I can get this put back on.

How was that VRX5 cam? Did it have a peaky power band or was it pretty even throughout the power band?

Flowdisaster sucks. Magnaflow is quiter but much better quality and richer sound. Cam sounds great!

I hate the flowmasters as well and I wished I would have read up on it before I got it installed. They only seem to sound good on Mustangs.
