hey man what can of exhust you have ? you care sound's amazing i have gt my self and am getting ready this winter to put cams , the aluminium intake , headers , and the stage 3 clutch i hope my stang get mor hp thanks
So how long did it take to do? Im doing a head swap on my 95 cougar in the spring. The heads are 98 stang being ported as we speak. comp cams. complete rebuild on the bottom end.
that is one of the nicest sounding mustangs i have ever heard. i was already planning on going with magnapacks for my 96 gt, but after hearing this... its a definet.
hey did these cams fit on your stock block? and do you know if the will fit with the stock cam gear? im doing almost the same set up you are except 3 in x and dumps. sounds great. oh and one last thing, how hard was it to drop your k member to do the header?
Yep, these are the biggest comp cams that will fit with stock pistons. It is recommended you get an adjustable cam gear so you can degree the cams perfectly, which is necessary to ensure no PTV issues with these cams. The headers were the most difficult part, but we just pulled the engine to do those, since it was out for the rod bearings anyways.
Killer Bullitt Rims. What sizes front and back please.

Did you use a degree wheel? Or did you just adjust till you got the cams right?
furiousStang 1 month ago
@furiousStang Yep, used a Jomar Performance degree wheel, they're really great to use.

@DwansAve Doing the work pictured, takes about two days if you're experienced at it, about 3-5 if you're new.
aCiD99GT 1 year ago
@aCiD99GT Haven't done a head swap yet. So probably 3-5 for me lol Anyway your car sounds great man.

you flycut the pistons to fit the cams?

Nope, just degreed them properly with Cloyes adjustable cam gears.

did u have any issues with the pypes longtubes and h pipe on the install...i just ordered some
crazy87lx 2 years ago
Just the fact that longtubes are super hard to install, that's about it. The higher you can lift the motor out to bolt them up, THE BETTER!
