I've been to LA loads of times, I'm going again in July/August. Trust me, planes are safe extremely safe, the amount of safety precautions there are now it's safer to be on a plane than in the street xD.

LA is very cool, yes, go to Santa Monica and Venice Beach though, they rock :).

Los angeles is extremely hot, and the condensation from the pacific ocean gets blown above the city as fog, but it cannot be blown away because LA is surrounded by mountains.

Additionally small amounts of pollution may be trapped in the fog, thats all.

I Love LA but it's true the Tom Bradly terminal sucks, lol! However they have been remodeling it a whole lot and it looks a lot nicer but it does not compare to other airports I've been too, like Houston's is very nice

KIgger622, you know what there is this video on here that you can look at. its a video of the Tom Bradley International terminal, You should look at it, it's the old unrenovated terminal so it does not look this bad anymore, anyway it under LAX INTERNATIONAL TERMINAL, look it up

They are taken using a digital camera. I have taken many videos and haven't been involved in a plane crash yet... Digital cameras don't have a wireless transmitting function, and also are not mentioned on the inflight safety cards as being prohibited (on the flipside, it doesn't say you can use them either)
