You bag the absolute CRAPOLA out of the DSi the whole time: ie say how crap the camera is ("Utterly pathetic"), the lack of connectivity of the device other than the 'half arsed desperately crippled implementation' of the SD card and the slow browser.. amongst countless other things..but still recommend it, sort of. If I was faced with THAT many downsides, do the right thing by the people and tell 'em it's fucked and you shouldn't buy one. Not having a GBA slot sucks. Batt life sucks. Cam sucks.

I forgot to say on my last post: If you already have a DS then a more sensible purchase would be a PSP rather than another DS variant.

The PSP is great for music and video, and of course there are some excellent titles for the system such as God Of War, Phantasy Star Universe, Crisis Core, Dissidia etc.

And being as you can get a PSP for less than a DSI XL, it makes good sense.

The DSi is one revision too many - the XL is kicking the ass out of it. The DS format is now over five years old and you're really paying out £150 for a machine that will shortly be bowing out to whatever next-gen hand held Nintendo is going to release next - most likely at a similar price.

Its better to keep your money in your pocket for the time being.

DSi XL is better. But I am not going to dump money on a POS mobile gaming device. My iPhone plays about the same quality of games and I always have it on me. (That and using a stylus makes me remember my old Palm back in the 90's)

I used to love Nintendo, but now they are moving on to the casual gamers. After playing with the original DS and having games bitch at me to blow into my mic I lost all interest.

Nintendo is now the american version of drunken karaoke. Crazy Japanese party games...
