  • I'd have sex to this. ANd try to keep the rythm :P

  • i just love how in touch with herself she is and that she doesn't give a shit what others think about it.

what language is she singing here?

  • @tsure Icelandic

  • @tsure Icelandic.

  • Brian Chippendale doesn't get enough credit on this song.

  • @the23rdmonkey i totally agree. Thom Yorke is my hero and Bjork isn't far behind - but it's the drums in this song that make it special. They're mindblowing.

  • Björk makes me proud of who I am and where i am from :3

  • i love my subwoofer...

  • THOM YORKE BJORK OTP

  • They always work together.

  • ive watched this coz of Thom Yorke

  • This has to be one fo her best.

  • so cool

  • where is thom york?

  • @corgan59 Radiohead's singer

  • @blacklily85 I did not say "who is tom york", but thank you

  • Comment removed

  • @corgan59 Idk if anyone explained it yet, but he's the background vocal here.

  • the drummer of Lightning Bolt did the drums

  • She is god.

  • @geofism As are we all. Great artists just do a better job of tapping and emitting godliness than most.

  • i love this :o i like how the drums are on beat then they're off beat :D

  • @Robotslovecake1 yeah, wtf is the time signature to this song? it's so hard to understand!

  • @orangerange101010 The intro is in 2/4 time, although it could be cut time... The drumming in the verses in in 7/8 time, in the little breakdowns after like 1:40 it is in 4/4 time for 2 bars and 3/4 time for the last, then it goes back into 7/8, and finishes on 7/4 time.

  • @oeoroe It's in 3... ;)

  • orgasmn

  • :'D!!!!!

  • hey world... if you love beats search 4 chingari / panchari melam symphony with rythm in hindu temples from kerala, south india ,which is more than1000 yrs old cultural barrier may b a problm initialy but music is universal also remember classicals need repeated hearing which wil make us addicted,so dont mis d exitement world still hav much more to take frm us .peace ..

  • HOLY CRAP this is FREAKIN Awesome!!!! biggest smile ive had all day!!

  • @lolirul totally agree with your feeling :D

  • What the hell is going on? lol...

  • another wonderfull collaboration from thom yorke and bjork...

  • COOL!

  • Oh I love her voice, something about it is so pleasant to me. She seems to be perfectly on pitch & off pitch all at the same time, it's rad.

  • I bought this single and arrived today: the vinyl has been not stopped playing in at least an hour... is a fucking obsession. And the cover sleeve is amazing, ohh I love it!

  • oh.. my... god... and by god, I mean Thom...

  • I dont know Icelandic but I'm sooooooooo learning the words XD

  • i heard thom didnt sing on this track so ive disregarded it for so long but listening to it now helps me remember that THOM>JESUS at everything

  • @whatcaniget "so has Radiohead now disappointed you too?" yeah it did...it proved me that after so many years i still can't imagine that they are humans like us...

  • @RelativeBadger - Totally agree!

  • @RelativeBadger yeah, you're right - all her songs DO sound the same. for example, Cocoon & Declare Independence sound IDENTICAL.

  • @zubesultana Best comment ever.

  • @RelativeBadger: this is not "painful noise". It is "painful Noise". That's the difference :) Most people hearing Coltrane say that jazz is random music. In the same spirit.

  • @RelativeBadger Have you heard her speak? That's her regular voice...

    THAT'S RACIST! lol

  • Bjork was allways in my book the best female artist..and after Vespertine album which is brilliant..i thought that Bjork will never disappoint me..and then came Timbalimba production and album called Volta..and once again i realised that only Radiohead will never disappoint me..still i can't belive she hirred Timbalimba to help her...why oh why.....

  • The drums blow me away every time I hear this. Wonderful.

  • the fuck is this?

  • Holy Shit. That was crazy shit.

  • absolutely beautiful. i loveeeee it!!!!!

  • this song is amazing

    the beat is genious!

    <3

  • lol.. probably one of her worst works ever... quite entertaining though coming from a music genious like her

  • @draltar you have got to be kidding, this song is ridiculously original and her vocals are fantastic

  • wow...his voice almost seems like a distant chant in a cathedral...I like this effect!

  • there's no description i love more than this one "Just the song with a picture" ♥

  • WTF is this... I kinda liked Wanderlust, but most of the time it's really hard for me to understand what she's trying to achieve with all that weird beats and stuffs.

  • @fucojr It's Avant-Garde music; a subgenre of experimental music. Avant-Garde music, like all experimental music, like Progressive and Art Rock tries out different sounds and uses instruments that are not of the mainstream. So, what Bjork is trying to achieve is what all experimental artists are trying to achieve, to sound different.

  • Brian Fucking Chippendale on the drums.

  • reminds me a bit of her work with sugar cubes

  • sick beat.

  • yo this song pumps me up ...internally like i dont even know how to express it i want to go running but not literraly i want my soul to go running

  • BRIAN CHIPPENDALE AUGHH YEAHHH

  • Powerfull

  • It's so ... Björk'esque!

  • amazing collaboration

  • I havent heard Thoms voice, but Bjork is incredible.

  • quite of a fist-in-your-face and call-to-arms piece. she's been increasingly aggressive and martial since Volta. the beat is as good as in some very good Scandinavian black metal. i think that she should next collaborate with Hellhammer of Mayhem.

  • Cool song

  • oh my god. I'm in absolute love with this. The breakcore and jungle side of me digs the high energy rhythms, and the folk-ish side loves the vocal and lyrical work. Bjork and Yorke have some huge potential.

  • w a i l i n g ♥

  • Makes me think of Rite of Spring for some reason. She is just beyond brilliant! Thanks for sharing!

  • He is the background from the start!

    Clean your lugs out :)

  • some radiohead/thom yorke fans out here can't even hear thom's phantom wail in the background tsk tsk

  • where do we hear thom yorke? is he wailing in the background?

  • probably did the instroments or something like that, I cant hear him either

  • @sinverb yea he's actually wailing in the background

  • Best concert l ever went to in my life was Bjork

  • OMG ,thom yorke and bjork ?? thats so cool!

  • Sounds like someone playing Adam & The Ants backwards!

  • its so RAW...!! I LOVE IT!!!

  • what album is this on, i can't find it??

  • As far as I know, is not from an album, it's a benefit song that she wrote for the Icelandic enviroment, or something like that.
