Avidya, I -think- (and I might be wrong) that you can fill the space above your minecart tracks with glass (or blocks with similar properties), and you won't suffocate as you ride the cart, but pigmen won't be able to wander around blocking the track. The ends of the track would have to remain clear, of course, but I think it could work.

If by we need gold nuggets for the blaze you mean for glistering melons so to change the potion into a potion of harm you could brew nether wart then spider eye for a potion of poison and afterwards brew it with a fermented spider eye for the same effect.

@MaB1235813 A potion of harm, in an easier to read post, is Netherwart+Glistening Melon+Glowstone Dust (Optional to increase the damage, stop here if you want it to heal)+Fermented Spider Eye+Gunpowder (note, you need this to make it a splash potion of damage, otherwise you'll drink it).

You need to get a silk touch pickaxe so you can get ice and melt it in the nether so you can make an auto-harvester for your Nether Wart!

AVIDYA!, with the nether wart farm you don't have to use lighting, although using lava around all the nether wart GREATLY improves the speed they grow, just like you use water to grow wheat, lava acts the same way but with nether wart :). Hope this helps, like this comment so Avidya can see.
