Change the subject for a minute. Gov. Christie whats your take on Gov. Perry supporting giving in-state tuition to illegals aliens. Obama supporting amnesty to illegal aliens. If you support those then you are NOT a conservative and wont vote for you as President. What about deporting all illegal aliens? I came to this country legally why can't they as well. Tea Party and Conservatives will never vote a RINO never again!!!
Whatever. Still live in your Liberal bubble. If the elections were held today Obama would lose to the GOP nominee. And if Obama's economy doesn't shape up anytime soon consider more of those purple states to turn red.
if this trend keeps up... lets just say the Left better be concerned about the results from 1984, when the very Conservative Reagan sought reelection. He was challenged by a poster boy for Leftist Elitists, Walter Mondale:
We should build another nuclear plant. Statistically they are still safer and way more coast effective then fossil fuels, in lives and environmental impact.
I sure hope there is gonna be a cost-value assessment on those wind and solar projects. That money would probably be better invested in a reliable power supply, like nuclear. ='[.]'=
@Raycheetah the money would have been better invested in real water, wind and solar projects decades ago. It was obstinate nonsense by GOP leadership that stymied it at every turn for decades...keeping us dependent on foreign oil. One can only wonder why...
Now nuclear is a better way too go? How short exactly is your attention span? The Japanese are light years ahead of Americans in engineering, and Fukushima just passed meltdown on 3 reactors....Nuclear? Try again
@MrEviljake A lot of earthquakes and tsunamis in NJ, are there? The Fukushima reactors were designed by General Electric, and are outdated designs placed in vulnerable locations. Nuclear power has been around long enough to have matured into an efficient, safe technology.
As for reliance on foreign oil... We could be using our own reserves, but: "It was obstinate nonsense by Democrat leadership that stymied it at every turn for decades." =^[.]^=
@Raycheetah although I like your optimism, take into account NJ has 8 plants, most making waste. Waste needs proper storage. Not sure where we are going to put it all or how we are paying for the storage & maintenance of that storage. Although NJ has not seen anything more than a mini quakes/tremors, we still get them & have fault lines in the tri state area. As for tsunamis, most of NJ is below/at/just above sea level. The mountains are closer to the PA/NYS sides. Could happen. Fgn oil - blah.
@Raycheetah Germany doesn't have earthquakes either; and they're shutting them all down. No safe way to handle it, and you know that on some level. When you get over your intellectual dishonesty follow the trail of breadcrumbs back Hansel.
@MrEviljake Oh, you mean Angela Merkel's knee-jerk reaction to appease constituents alarmed by Fukushima? Yeah, smart move. Her polling numbers actually DROPPED as a result. Seems German folks realize that, without nuclear power, their electricity has to come from SOMEWHERE, and that somewhere has yet to be defined. As for my intellectual dishonesty, I'll pluck that straw from my eye as soon as you pull the beam of making ad hominem attacks out of yours. =^[.]^=
@Raycheetah It's time for serious people without historical amnesia, try all you might to reinvent history, we won't let you. Those of us with jobs, and businesses to run are starting to speak out; the nut job fringe can take a seat from here on in. The GOP is finished in America... believe it
@MrEviljake so what makes you think the GOP is finished? Let me guess you think the influx of the legal immigrants mostly latino/hispanic will vote for the Democrats??? LOL @ YOU!!! uh hello the Latino/hispanic vote gave Bush his second term. Sad that you want to categorize the Latino vote with the Black vote. Pls do your research & get out you liberal bubble-not all the minorites groups are like the black communities. Face reality.....
@MrEviljake continued.. The Tea Party Movement, Chris Christie winning in a blue state-for a Republican that's the first time since 1969, and one of THE MOST conservative cities in the country has a 45.5% latino/hispanic population-heard of the city called Bakersfield (in CA)? YES with a FORTY POINT FIVE PERCENT of Latino/Hispanic pop. Bakersfield is one of the top conservative cities in the country, and finally historic Republican gains in the House of Representatives.
@POPCANA Normally I wouldn't bother, probably shouldn't waste my time; 1st time since 69? Kean, Whitman? They were "Republicans", the modern variety. Both spent money the state didn't have, put nothing into the pension plans, and left the taxpayers of NJ holding the bag.
Once I spotted the 9/11 crazy on your page (occult?) I realized you might want to come up for air, the Tea party is over. You loons will be muzzled soon enough. I didn't leave the conservatives, they left me
@MrEviljake my bad on the "1st since 69" comment. Let me correct that- Christie won by the largest margin for a first term Republican since 1969.
Point is the GOP isn't going away anytime soon. would u like more facts?...;
Conservatives still outnumber Moderates, liberals ..of course more are afilliated with Democratic Party but unaffiliated voters are growing and lean conservative
-more than a dozen blue states turned purple
-just recently one of those "purple" states turned red: Indiana
@MrEviljake The Liberal Machine Media & so-called "Conservative bias Faux News" doesn't mention one bit of these facts. As a result sadly America gets people like you- a walking talking ignorant by-product of these "news" corporations where they want the gullible to believe the Casey Anthony story is "news".
IN the real world... well at least here in America you could at least acknowledge this is still a center-right country?? right can you at least acknowledge that?
@strokeofirish1 I guess you're right, I am being unduly harsh in my assessment. You likely disagree with the lots of the standard talking points of the conservative talking heads, and may well be an independant thinker and voter.
@strokeofirish1 He was never running for president, so there is nothing to forget. Why do self described republicans abandone leaders that stray from the talking points from last night's O'Reilly show?
@ForTehNguyen Really, don't you know that govt has been in the business of promoting and developing energy sources since birth of industry. Whether it is coal, oil, or nuclear, govt has had a substancial role in promoting it via tax breaks, R&D grants, land grants, funding cleanups, insuring nuclear powerplants, not to mention whole depts dedicated to energy. If it was left to the free market significant developments would not have occurred or have been greatly slowed.

It don't. You're living in a Liberal bubble. Get out of that bubble and face reality for once!
