It doesn't matter what you say, it doesn;t matter that the singers eyes are permanently shaded by an apparently ill-fitting trilby, the song speaks for itself. In short, a true gem deep set in the bejeweled casing of gold, platinum and acoustic magnificence.
Though some may struggle to endure the indulgent and yet highly skillful intro to this brooding, melancholy and yet joyful song; those stalwarts which can withstand the temptation to hit the tiny red x at the top right hand corner of the youtube window will reap the rewards of a vocal performance that denies description and yet one that I will describe forthwith.
hey sweetie! i DID enjoy the song very much. Thank you for sharing it. It was really great seeing you do your thang again. luv the video, too!! hugzzz!
@australiarod Do you mean when am I reposting Happy Birthday Helen with me playing guitar? I don't think I will be doing that. I found the strumming pattern confusing and even if I get it right I still don't know if I can sing and play guitar at the same time. However I posted To Her Door with me singing and playing guitar already. That's where my guitar skills is at at the moment. Need a lot more practice especially singing and playing at the same time.
Yeah, get that guitar sorted man! Playing and singing at the same time, just practice, any boofhead can do it, I do it, just not that well ;) Seriously, you will find that if you practice for a while, one day it will just happen and it won't be a problem anymore. I still have problems fingerpicking and singing sometimes. If you listen carefully to this live take, you will hear that I play different patterns with the picking sometimes. Didn't mean to! Cheers, Rod
