Well, I think politicians know but their priority is to help businesses, for the almightly dollar. It should be easy to figure out; just ask the question "who has access to her SSN?",and there is your answer. Maybe someone in the hospital where their daughter was born accessed records to get numbers for their illegal immigrant friends. Americans, politicians do not operate ethically; & saying they do is because they know we are gullible.

Thanks for posting this. This is a growing problem that doesn't get much play. Everyone should fax, call, and email their members of Congress and Senate, and all local officials and demand that the e-verify system is made law in their state.
