  • This lady know absolutely nothing about cleaning carpet; I am a pro with more than 30 years at cleaning carpet, rickiefontenotsjanitorialservices

  • as someone mentioned Windex to clean baseboards bad idea Rug Doctor's machines are under powered and a waist of money which could leave floors over wet I recommend to use a professional carpet cleaner in your area with Hot Water Extraction as recommended by carpet mills. Professional machines water temp ranges from 180 to 250 degrees for a more thorough cleaning with the sterilizing affect of proper chems and water temp.

  • @rjfdube i agree with you. you know what I use that works well with baseboards White Vinger and part lemon with water.

  • nothing to see.

  • Honestly - to be an "expertvillage" person - do you only need to be able to breathe?

  • Windex !! Go organic and not a paper towel .

  • Take your vacuum in for A tuneup, it's needs it BADLY! No Hoover should sound like that. I should know, I collect vacuums

  • These people are clueless,

    1. windex is a bad choice for cleaning baseboards, murphy oil soap is a better choice.

and why a whisk broom? Hoover gives you a set od dusting tools for a reason.

and for being experts they sure dont know how to properly store a vacuum, that poor cord is all knoted up, what a mess

  • Does anyone know if Shampooing a carpet can remove a faint red stain? I spilled a cup of Jamaica tea (red like Kool-Aid) on a beige carpet, and got about 75-85 percent of the color out, but it still remains faintly visible, and it it 2-3 days old at the time, so if anyone knows if Carpet shampoo can get the stain out then please reply, I am only 13, and my Grandma says that Shampooing the carpet might get the stains out, but I need a second opinion.

  • A whisk broom or as splash suggested a toothbrush for what?? Every use those handy little things that come with your vacuum call ATTACHMENTS?! Uh, you might try the little sucker wand. Hey put the BRUSH attachment on it.

  • I always kick myself when I open an "expert" village video. They are the WORST.

  • truer words were never spoken!

  • Did she use windex???????/ And this is "expert village"? How about village idiot.

  • Ooops..

Never use Windex for paints. Woods.. Anywhere near Carpet. You can cause Dye-migration from windex to the carpet..

    -.-

    Your NOT an expert.

  • .... Is that windex?

    Never NEVER

  • FYI.. an old toothbrush also works wonders to remove dust and dirt away from the edge of the wall before vacuuming.
