@Jaridias alice didnt become a cure untill after she got infects by the scientest AFTER the movie but before apoclyppse and the red queen doesnt know umbrella never though it was possible so the red Queen even if alice could be used as a cure could not have cured and their also was a cure at the time but she did as emergency protocale when a biohazard wass leaked

@stubo72 I think it's a decent adaptation, they obviously wouldn't be able to make a movie completely based on the first game without any adaptation. The only thing I did not like was Alice, her introduction as a main character was dumb, they should have remained faithful to the game and introduced Chris and Leon in the second movie but other than that it's a good movie.

@mralanv I dont know, they had so much to work with that didnt get used. The resident evil camera angles, the suspense, the music? Seems like they completely missed a trick to me. Resident Evil is a survival horror game, why couldnt the movie represent the same genre? I dont see why it had to be adapted into what it is, really, it could have been done so much better. Just because people didnt play the game doesnt mean they wouldnt have been blown away by what they could have done with the movie?

I love the 3rd best. The latest one of the series was a disappointment. I mean- if the bad guy was shot, blown up with a mega powerful bomb why would they show him parachuting into the sea as if he needed it at the end of the film. That is just one of many examples.
