  • strong fan ,its the same faf as smashstuff30 did a durability test & a dragging test then smashed it ,it was one tought fan though!

  • good looking fan I have the model before it totally restored. mine has 3sp reversible and thermostat I will try to get on video. mine has buttons and dial on the side. A real beauty!

  • My dad had one just like this through out the 60's and into the 70's..He used it mainly in front of the attic opening to pull heat up in the summer,its kind of freaky to hear that "Turbine" kind of sound when it fires up... It's a distinct sound that I remember well as a kid.I found a similar model last summer with a plastic blade ( UGH ! ) but has a reverse switch

    that my dads didn't..nice feature

    you gotta check out the GE F11W4--gray mid 50's box fans they are the predacessor to this model and are the BEST ! ! ! !
