  • oh my god I cannot explain the rush I got from watching this video. I poured countless hours into Horrorland as a kid (not the main story since it's piss easy for most of it) trying to get through all the trash can areas, as well as that Battlezone simulator at the blood bank. Never really succeeded at either of em. I used to look at the game map and think "wouldn't it be cool if the developers added some of these areas as secrets"... WOW your video well and truly blew my mind, hahahaha.

  • @Projectorheads Oh man, I'd forgotten about that simulator!! Wow, memories. And I KNOW, you have no idea how long I spent trying to find places like the House of Mirrors and the Car Park XD On one of the tunnel maps there are some areas marked "unexplored" so I kind of have hopes of stumbling across something else cool. X3 Either way, I'm going to attempt the challenge of completing all the tunnels in the game and see what comes of it xD

    Thanks for watching!!

  • I always wondered where that Dracula's Castle Exit lead to. You done well. I wonder what will happen if you collect all 777 coins?

  • @Aquarius199 Thanks! ^^ And I really wonder that too, but I've given up all hope of ever doing it, because it's so impossible to get through the game itself without losing any, to say nothing of then going and completing all the tunnels. I started this tunnel here off with 0 tokens (so the total number of tokens you see in my backpack were all accumulated from the tunnel and tower) because I always lose them all as I go through the game. x3

  • @hyperchica You get another ending with the 777 tokens. A much more kid-friendly one! There is an alternative ending on youtube somewhere, I think...

  • @Aquarius199 You get another ending with the 777 tokens. A much more kid-friendly one! There is an alternative ending on youtube somewhere, I think...

  • @LarryLynx so what is the alternative ending? can u describe it?

  • @BadWolf117Returns Yeah, they arrive home and meet their parents and hug, such as the other ending (though not the same film sequence as the normal ending, but they do pretty much the same thing) and nothing strange happens. It is just a happy reunion with no surprises...Getting 777 tokens is theoretically impossible though.

  • @BadWolf117Returns Oh, and one more thing! I will do everything I can to try finding the ending. Just so you know I am not lying - google giantbomb escape from horrorland, read the last sentence!

  • @LarryLynx "The game contains multiple endings." Yes, but we knew that already: it has a good ending and a bad ending. Honestly, the perfect ending you're describing sounds identical to the good ending. I'm not convinced you've ever seen it. If you claim getting 777 tokens is "theoretically impossible" then how can it be possible in practice?

  • @hyperchica I did see it on youtube a few years ago. Not to be rude, but I don't give a rats ass if you don't believe me. Why would I lie of such a thing, there is nothing to win? I barely remember any details anyways... I guess sombody might have taken the video from the game files and just posted it here? It is available if you know how to access it, I suppose :)

  • @LarryLynx All right, I just said I wasn't convinced. Not trying to call you a liar, but it could've been a fake. I think there should be some sort of reward for getting 777 tokens, but considering how near-impossible it is, a slightly different video clip at the end doesn't seem enough of a prize. x3 Oh well, I'll keep my eye out anyway. I'd be happy to be proven totally wrong :P

  • @Aquarius199 Well, all of the numerous monsters in the tunnels will combine together and create a giant killer monster that's eat your face clean off. JK!!

  • Congratulations on completing the tunnel.

Luckily, you only have to do it once provided you survive.

I just kept wondering if there was a secret passage into the other part of the castle or vice versa.

I used to think that the building outside the tower window was a part of Vampire Village, until I got to the real area of the game where that building was.

Again, congratulations on completing the tunnel.

  • @Nicksolo85 Aah, so you completed the tunnel before you'd completed the game? That's interesting. You sound like something of a tunnels guru; why don't you make some tunnel videos?

  • @hyperchica Sounds tempting.

I would like to post some videos here. If I still could play the game & I had the proper stuff needed to record videos, I gladly would post some.

I would also wanna post videos of me playing some of my favorite video games & maybe even some of my favorite local hangouts.

I have played multiple versions/ports of some video games, so I also think it would be cool to do some version/port comparison videos.

Example: Mortal Kombat 1 Arcade, SNES & Genesis.

  • @Nicksolo85 So you don't have the disc any more? Because if you can get hold of the game itself, recording is the easy part. I use Fraps to record my videos, which is free to download. If you play Horrorland on a recent OS such as Windows 7, the graphics will look messed up when you play it (except in tunnels, weirdly) but it will record just fine.

For non-PC games, I think there's a different type of equipment needed, but if you really want to, you should do it! :3

  • @hyperchica I should.

I already have the account, so I should try putting it to even more good use.
