6G is a good shift point. theres no point in reving it up higher then that. at that rpm, the turbo is making full boost and the motor is puting out its max. hp./
dumb view. if the power decreases above 6K, it doesn't mean you have to shift. Shifting on max power? You should use it instead. And power after the shift will be lower than that decreased high rev power anyway! so overshifting is faster not only because of high end power that is higher than that after a shift, but after shifting, you are at higher rpms in that higher gear too!
