Umm, ask your dad to bring you down to the local Futureshop in Canada or Best buy or Target or whatever leading electronics chain is in your town,get a subscription card they come in 1 month,6 months or 12 months,12 months being the best value as you get more months for less money.Then just start up your xbox,go to the xbox live thingy and find where to put in the code,the subscription should be instant.
