He cant be knocked out after the first hit. If you pay attention, just before the second impact you can see the front wheels counter steer just before the 2nd hit.
Still doesn't make any sense at all, he lost control about 200 feet out, why would it matter if the E/T was based on 1/4 mile? It's not like he would have lost control 400 feet out because it was a 1/4 mile track.
good point but maybe the guy below was thinking that he might be using a diff transmission for the 1/8 mile since you wouldnt need a lot of top end compared to the 1/4 track so the trap speed would still be diff ?

That car has alot of power for only a 305 motor. I guess those glasspacks add maybe 40-80 extra horsepower. I gotta get me some of those!

He cant be knocked out after the first hit. If you pay attention, just before the second impact you can see the front wheels counter steer just before the 2nd hit.

Still doesn't make any sense at all, he lost control about 200 feet out, why would it matter if the E/T was based on 1/4 mile? It's not like he would have lost control 400 feet out because it was a 1/4 mile track.

good point but maybe the guy below was thinking that he might be using a diff transmission for the 1/8 mile since you wouldnt need a lot of top end compared to the 1/4 track so the trap speed would still be diff ?
