THIS IS SORT OF LIKE the way so many individuals (and couples) who make say $100k a year or more believe they are rich and thus vote in such a way as to protect the super rich from taxes, just one example, because they fantasize (and even imagine) themselves being very wealthy, and thus hob knobbing with the filthiest, richest scum.

If you look into the crowds there were not people in business suits standing there.

Anyone of relevance were greeting the "royals".

Most people with a decent job and well paying job would not take time out from their busy schedules to go and waste their time on this farce.

Only people who are diehard monarchy supporters came out to see them.
