At last!...Today i recieved 2.2 update from t-mobile uk on my Desire and i have to say i have noticed a huge difference in performance along with the extra features that come with it, it has made my phone run much more efficiently. I love it!

I was just prompted to download 2.2 yesterday wednesday. I downloaded it and everthing installed. It has 2.2 and its SLOW as hell on my evo. simply scrolling has dramatically been slowed down compared to when i was on 2.1. If anybody had this probem and has solved it, please help cuz 2.2 seems like it adds alot to the evo and i want to take advantage of froyo without having this issue.

@dowblab No google included wifi hotspot. Sprint stripped it out and charges for it. No worries though, just root your Evo and get wifi tethering for free.

Nice. Looks like it's pretty smooth and snappy, although running Enom's TheOfficial on my N1 is still smoother (built from AOSP 2.2 and overclocked baby!).

Still looking forward to the Galaxy S phones getting Froyo. My wife has a Captivate and I can't wait to see how awesome it becomes with Froyo running the show. Although I love my Nexus and it pains me to say it, Hummingbird > Snapdragon by a mile.
