thank you very much for your nice words but i must tell you that a Nation that lives for over 10.000 Years, and i am only talking about last few thousands of Modern Greek history in comparison of how old this land is and the first Greek tribes before they unite into one Nation and advance in all prospect since the last cataclysm, has more possibilities to survive than a Continent that when found had already dead civilizations and those who were still there were in prime form recovering..

i hate to say it but Greek civilization deserves to die if the self-destructive aspects of its polity and economy aren't repressed. The populists and public employees who want vast monies have turned the country into a laughingstock. Witness the 2009 protests by Greek part time firefighters who demanded they get hired full time. They don't care that their idea is unsustainable. I live in NJ, USA and have known many greek people, but i fear their ancestral land will die without honor

At least they have woken up and are taking steps to reduce their deficit. What is America doing to cut its huge debt? Nothing.. the're doing the complete opposite.

You're right - my USA is self-destructing on the state and national level. Maybe modern western capitalist civilization is doomed to self-destruct. I see every indication that it will, and little indication that it will recover. When a country decides to print its own money in unlimited amounts in order to fulfill the unlimited wants of its special interests and voting blocs, then doom can only be the result in the long run.
