  • "COME ON! YEAH" Man I remember getting mental with this MANY moons ago.....still gives me that little chemically induced tingle at the base of the spine

  • still sends pimples down my spine, after all this time

  • bought it on vinyl that time , still own and love it

  • I didnt even know this had a video ffs! I remember my dad playing his crappy, boring music when I was growing up. And I hated it. But here we are now, with kids of our own, and the music we could play them is harder and more brutal than anything thats popular now lol. Haha. Stick your "grimey" dubstep where the sun dont shine, let daddy play ya some Quadrophonia or T99 and see whos boss :-)

  • fooking tune! this brings it back!

  • This is Dutch House music!!!!

  • Of course Holland, Belgium and UK where THE people that bang the late 80's and Early 90's.

But this was more likely Belgian hardcore breakbeat...

    very nice music anyway.

  • @JEANBRUCE1991

It's produced by Lucien Foort, a Rotterdam based DJ/Producer. It came out on a

Belgium recordlabel. Does it make that Belgium or Dutch? Anyway, like you said, cool music!

  • @belovedbyall

Quadraphonia are/were 2 producers : Lucien Foort (Dutch) and Olivier Abbeloos (Belgian)

  • @cleophis1 true! so half Dutch and half Belgium it is!

  • some good shit right here

  • pure class :-D

  • I agree with Jarren...Belgium kicked butt back then...not sure how but the trax that came out there were sick

  • The Man with the masterplan

    COMMON :)

  • KLF win

  • Nah KLF don't win, they ripped off Ann Clark's Sleeper In Metropolis for their biggest hit (What Time Is Love).

They're ok, but Belgium kicked the UK's ass in the late 80's...

  • @Jarren202

We sure kicked ass in the late 80's earley 90's but it's not a fact of who kicked who's ass.

    Music is universal.

By the way if our music back then wouldn't become so popular in the UK it wouldn't have become such a succes i think.

So we actualy have to thank the UK.

  • I agree that music is universal, it's just that I think Belgium followed their own unique blueprint throughout the 80's.

Starting with electronic pop bands like Telex and 1000 Ohm at the start of the 80's through to the IDM of Front 242 & A Split Second and finally the New Beat sound at the end of the decade, Belgium's sound was unique.

  • @Jarren202 no offence but the english rave seen was written about all over the world in the "late 80s" , i dont remember one article about Belgium,,, name some djs or some tunes made by belgique artists... i will list some djs all english from the late 80s if you so require,, my list will be longer than yours im sure.. they must be well known in the rave scene though...go on i challenge you

  • Hi, here's a list of Belgian artists & dj's from the late 80's - early 90's: Frank de Wulf, Oliver Adams, Praga Khan, Nikkie van Lierop, Patrick de Meyer, Olivier Abbeloos, Jo Bogaert, Phil Wilde, Johan Gielen, Rene van der Weyde, Lex van Coeverden, Marcos Salon.

As far as songs go, there was Rhythm Device - Acid Rock, 101 - Rock To The Beat, T99 - Anasthasia, Praga Khan - Injected With A Poison, Modular Expansion - Cubes, Channel X - Rave The Rhythm, Cubic 22 - Night In Motion... And this!

  • @Jarren202 Nice list : here's some more ; CJ Bolland, Liaison D, Cartouche, the Mackenzie, Convert, Technotronic & 2unlimited

  • Oh and of course I respect the late 80's UK scene, when Oakenfold and Rampling brought Acid House to England etc.

I was talking musically, as the UK scene was comprised mostly of American imports (Acid House) with only a few UK based acts. Belgium on the other hand had it's own legion of independently thinking musicians as I listed.

But yes, by 1991 the UK had catched up. I love UK rave (Altern 8, Messiah, Acen) as much as Belgian Techno.

  • That's the remix version. Love that Buzz...
