  • Yeah you could buy this for $200. Or you could buy a Raspberry Pi for $25 and use a system with way more features that may be a fair bit slower but overall much more worth the 1/8 of the price of this that it costs.

  • Too expensive. I can buy a Kindle Fire and root it. It would have less power/memory, but be fully functional with a touchscreen. WTF - why are these morons clawing for money for this thing? You can keep it. I AM going to be buying 4-5 Raspi's using that money tho... :)

  • Once I noticed the green screen in the background, all I could think of for the rest of the video was MPAA.

    Ugh.

  • Can i install irssi.org and run ssh&irssi on it? :)

  • She has no idea what she's talking about! You can't plug this in to a smartphone idiot!

  • THATS AMAZING BUT!!! The Question is does it have a tracking device GPS no matter where I walk with it will my EVERY STEP will be tracked IF so stick that FXI up your ASSSS

  • @Muddas05 i dont think a powerless pc could track you down....

    IT NEEDS A POWER SOURCE!!!!!

the usb port of your tv should supply that...

  • the Raspberry Pi proves that the "bare-metal" of such a micro-PC costs less than 50$, and everything is made in China anyway - so I don't really see the point in buying a slightly better hardware plus what is essentially a 4GB memory stick, for the price of 8 (!) bare-metal RP's...

these guys could have started a revolution in the sense that Micro-PCs don't have to be embarrassingly weak - but instead they just got greedy :(

  • under $200? pshhhh i think i'll go with the raspberry pi for $35

  • /watch?v=XhHDSOzC1T0 LOL

  • I'm throwing money at my computer screen but nothing happens....disappointed

  • Raspberry Pi.

  • @chikenexpress36 Your tower must be ancient then.

  • if this device is done properly, the possibilities are staggering.

but considering it's only $200 - even if it's NOT done properly people will probably just hack them and MAKE them proper.

  • @roidroid Yeah it's a really cool idea. I just imagine when these ARM chipsets and devices have 2GB+ of RAM. Just for browsing and light media tasks for a device like this would be a great experience. I'm wondering if they're working on some kind of all in one dock solution to have HDMI output coupled with extra USB ports to get a easier, out of the box user experience with this.

  • @JustOneMorgan i think i see an HDMI connector sticking out the right side, but it might be just me.

(ie: one side has a USB, the other a HDMI)

  • @roidroid Yeah it does. But I think it'd be cool if they had a dock solution that added extra USB ports to this for keyboards and the like.

  • @JustOneMorgan just plug a usb hub onto that single USB connector, eeeeasy

  • what smartphone can have a usb connected to it?

  • @mostinho9 data cable has a usb end.. aint it?

  • @mostinho9 prettymuch every smartphone has a mini or micro usb connection.

  • Dear Santa...

  • Google TV的未来解决方案。。It's so cooooool!!

  • Right now I'm proud to be a Norwegian =)

  • So.. i was thinking of playing BF3. That should work right?

  • @zwekz in time, probably. Right now i doubt it. It probably runs a custom OS (non-windows), and they didn't mention any internal data storage.

  • Will i bee able to use it like a mediaplayer and stream media from my main pc?

  • I'm buying this, and putting Ubuntu on it! I want it now!!!

  • I think she subconsciously more wanted to show off her manicure, even blocked the label on the device throughout the demo.

  • @abblepc fuck labels. Manicure's the shit.

  • apple tv costs 99$

  • @asterisk52 Apple TV is also ghey

  • @asterisk52 and....

  • @2009korte This is a computer dude.. With a processor, memory etc..

  • Comment removed

  • Too expensive.. I will get that device if it cost $80 or less.. not usefull at all

  • @osunamex actually, all things considered, this is totally worth it. a USB stick with the power, if not more than a netbook, and considerably cheaper.

  • @osunamex why?

  • @osunamex i certainly agree. From the sounds of it you need to be spending your money asap buying some imagination instead.

  • Garbage !!!!

  • @chikenexpress36 haha, i feel your pain there pal...
