Not very happy is he, sweet though-you need to get a pheramone plug in and just watch him with the newbie-we bought two new tabby points last year to fill the void left by Teddy ( although we never give up hope of him returning), our cats brother and to give him company and he hissed at them for 7 weeks-he merely tolerates them now as he is older and he plays and sleeps with them but there is no hissing from him now-and one of them, Monty adores him.
This is a good example of a cat's territorial behaviour. This cat probably senses the new cat's smell at the hand of the owner and wants to say: 'get the f*ck away with this terrible smell of the intruder'. I've experienced about the same with my cat when I bought a friend for him. This strange behaviour disappeared after a few days and now they are best mates! Nice cat by the way!
Your cat is really cute! My cat never really reacts to vids like these, but when he heard your cat meowing he came to my room all confused! I'm sure he feels your cats pain, we took a new cat a week ago and he's not too happy about it...
You can see clearly that there's no agression from the cat towards the owner. No big pupils, no flat ears. He's complaining about the new cat that entered his territory, that's all. People who own an oriental shorthair or Siamese cat know this behaviour has nothing to do with agression.

He's so pretty, and isn't shy about sharing his feelings! I hope he's adjusting to the changes.

I want to get one of these, apparently they are very intelligent and have the build of a canine. I love how broad their faces are too. How cute.

Mooie Opname.
Een herkenbare situatie; de reactie van deze kat richting de andere kat die te dicht in de buurt komt.

That is not a happy cat! Let the cat chill out, it wants to be left alone! It's giving you warnings!
