Indeed parents are so lazy these days, they won't even bother to check the rating of the children's games expecting every video game to somehow magically be kid-friendly because their kids are the only ones who play games. I find it really funny in the NIMF bashing of madworld that he said "Nintendo should not forget about their initial audience" (or something like that), now to a big Nintendo fan like me, the ignorance in that statement really made angry.
I fucking hate retards who think that they don't have any responsibility about what their kids are playing. Also I played Eternal Darkness at the age of 11, I did not turn into a psychopath.
Same, I played that game when I was young too and nothing has happened to me. I really believe that the problem is the way we live where if something goes wrong, you can blame it on anything but yourself. People think that kids are born sweet and innocent when infact, they are twisted little bastards who need their parents to set'em straight, but when the parents don't, they blame the violent games that are "corrupting" the kids.
