America has freedoms...which is good..but, I mean most of us just sit in front of our computers, TV, or XBOX, or something like that...America has helped Africa a little but not enough...We need the American army to help these people out! They don't get games or anything like that..they only get Each other and hope to god that they don't get abducted..we need to start helping instead of sitting on our asses!
If you want to help these kids, please contact me and i can give you a link we're you can donate that is connected to the invisible children's project. My school is trying our best to raise money and help. Please think of these kids and how much you can impact them and please message me for a link where you can donate. Thank you <3
I forget who but an Ugandan guy and gal came to my middle school and my social studies teacher showed us a video. Not this one but a video and On May 25th if I remember correctly, some people in my school did the 25 hours of silence. I did. But this is just sad to hear. I've been spreading the word about this on Twitter and I tell my friends. I may not have donated because off my dad but I'm spreading the word.
sometimes... most of the times we take things for granted, some of us may think "we dont have anything" or we can even take our family for granted.. this documentary was shown to me last year my teacher showed it to us and till this day it makes me sad. I makes me want to turn this computer off and get up and do something we need to help them make this WORLD A BETTER PLACE FOR ALL THE HUMAN RACE!!!!
people REALLY should donate.. and help these childre.. sadly this is STILL going on.. the least amount of && you can donate is $5 and i know 5 dollars ISNT alot of money to us.. but to these children 5$ can make and change there life. so PLEASE donate to there organization its truely amazing...
People say more relief and more donations, but ask yourself this, who is propelling this war? Who is backing these warring regimes? Who is the master behind the puppets, tugging at their strings? Wars are expensive and yet factions grow munificent from smuggled arms "What world do we live in when children are made to suffer? When men sever the fragile strings of life, sequestering nature in the depths of their immoral souls?"
it's so good they made these videos look at the views of the videos. 64thousand people now know about this.. and even if they dont all help.. maybe 3 of them will.. but still it is something.. i respect these guys
OMG..7:20 to 7:26 jus made me want to cry..i was born in Africa (ghana) and they dont teach us much bout other african countries..i think Africa should come together and try to end this war....soo sad how the children are getting the worst of this war and its not even their war to fight is just not right.. :(
I thank you guys for taking this video cause people do not really know whats in or whats happening in other continents. While some continents have free education, others do not even have a chance of education, food, clothing or medical. Actually am a Ugandan living in the middle of Kampala and i know what it means when some one talks about what happened in nothern Uganda. And i thank every one who has donated some thing, may the almighty reward you abundantly. Evelyn Paraa safari lodge
How can Joseph do that without feeling any guilt. taking innocent children that r supposed to have a happy and joyful childhood and forcing them into becoming soliders and brainwashing them into thinkin that killing people is the way of life. That totally isnt rite a persons childhood is supposed to be full of joy not full of violence and killing. This is really quite sad. It makes me so grateful of what i have in life. I hope that someday i will be able 2 go and help them without bein murdered.

its funny how everyone argues on what we should be doing... the fact is that... helping 1 person means helping the world because if one can do it than many will follow.. and so we will have helped at least 10% of the world.. it might be a small amount but the hope is there.....ITS TRUE that the world will never change.... but have hope because with hope anything is possible ... dont be negative.... HOPE
nah I never said that you people are taking it the wrong way. Im saying it is ignorant to think we can just toss money at everything and think things will get better, that may however work in the U.S because thats all we care about, but not over there
this world is hell, the sooner you learn to accept the cruelty and stupidity of the human race you will be better off. stuff like this WILL NEVER STOP until humans cease to exist. Yes you can always make some peoples lives better but none of this will ever change. People in third world countries arent going to wake up one day from our 5$ donations with running water and fridge with food. These problems are much bigger than money and have been going on for years
I know what you mean.. like, there will always be rich and poor people in the world, no matter what.. but, we can't just let them die. It totally isn't there fault that this is there position in the world. To suffer.
I think the world needs to think of a new resolution to this problem ...

I don't know if anyone feels the same way, but these kids and people actually seem pretty educated and smart for what conditions they're living in and what their lives have been like... williamwagener, you obviously don't know what is going on in uganda to say it is te perfect child army, these children are abducted and forced to join the army and shouldn't exist, it is not perfect, its disgusting!!
And No ONE can help them NOT be abducted "and forced" to join the army.... they never cry. they accept their plight if they

I believe that anything is possible, if you put your mind to it. And sorry if this sounds rude but it is just as well i believe because you have obviously given up hope!
this is so sad. i watched the documentary in school today. i've heard about this before. my friend and i are planning a trip to africa to do what we can to help
what monsters those men are! i just can't even imagine.... someone doing that to a little kid.... it seems so unreal. those drawn pictures of Joseph Kony sent shivers up my spine, and by the end i was in tears.
I would love to believe me except I can't simply because I need to conmplete my school course first....Hower I will try and raise money for this cuase with a chairty after Christmas (in my school) to get people's attention and highlight this matter!
god bless them and i pray that peace is coming. we honestly need to do something about this as the u.s being a country so strong. i remember seeing this at camp drenched in tears.
nobody cares about osama bin laden, he is actually a secret agent of CIA, its just an excuse that he is a terrorist, but in reality US governemt and countries like US dont care about these children they care only hot to get oil and mineral resources. US or UN or rich EU countries dont want to be connected with them!
not only should we protest against the u.s. but also the United Nations peace keepers eh? little here and there but this country is not even safe for little children
man those two kids at 1:57, telling what they dream to be when they grow up, just was heartbreaking. that's their only escape from that wretched place, is only dreaming of a far off reality that, to their minds, would in that situation seem hopeless.
This is ridiculous that we still have to talk about helping.I know there are 13,000 relief workers from UNICEF, buts that is hardly enough. They are making a hue difference with the refuge camps, but we need intervention now. 20 years is too long. The world wants to ignore it while our brothers and sisters are dying in the streets. We said never again with Rwanda, and we have severely broken that problems. Sitting around and moping will not resolve this. God show us the way please.
@jhessgirl i say we find a way wihtout god god led idi amin to massacre htousands god leads joseph kony now i say enough of god leading us i say we let morality and correctness lead us
You can't say outright that you have to stop the rebels because the rebels are the victims. There is hardly anyone that follows Kony willingly. Therefore it is Kony who needs to be stopped
I agree with you their, the only bad thing about this doc. is that it doesn't give the whole story, but its still great. however, simply stopping Kony won't be enough. you stop Kony someone else will take his place. obviously violence hasn't stopped anything, the past 22 years is evidence of that. to quote the late great john lennon, "why not give peace a chance."
Very hard to understand that way of thinking. When we were in Uganda in 2002. We heard a story about a person from the north that had a dog that barked too often. One day this person decided to teach this dog a lesson. He drove a nail through the dogs mouth from top to bottom.
America has freedoms...which is good..but, I mean most of us just sit in front of our computers, TV, or XBOX, or something like that...America has helped Africa a little but not enough...We need the American army to help these people out! nobody cares about osama bin laden, he is actually a secret agent of CIA, its just an excuse that he is a terrorist, but in reality US governemt and countries like US dont care about these children they care only hot to get oil and mineral resources. US or UN or rich EU countries dont want to be connected with them!

darkhankz, you're so right. and we have to do something. we can change this.

because America will only put money into wars that effect us directly. this war in uganda is a civil war, it doesn't effect us.
it sucks, but it's the truth.

not only should we protest against the u.s. but also the United Nations peace keepers eh? little here and there but this country is not even safe for little children
flashman201 3 years ago
man those two kids at 1:57, telling what they dream to be when they grow up, just was heartbreaking. that's their only escape from that wretched place, is only dreaming of a far off reality that, to their minds, would in that situation seem hopeless.

so we need to send a letter to our senators to stop this
the more letters they get they cannot ignore

This is ridiculous that we still have to talk about helping.I know there are 13,000 relief workers from UNICEF, buts that is hardly enough. They are making a hue difference with the refuge camps, but we need intervention now. 20 years is too long. The world wants to ignore it while our brothers and sisters are dying in the streets. We said never again with Rwanda, and we have severely broken that problems. Sitting around and moping will not resolve this. God show us the way please.

You can't say outright that you have to stop the rebels because the rebels are the victims. There is hardly anyone that follows Kony willingly. Therefore it is Kony who needs to be stopped
masterminja 4 years ago
I agree with you their, the only bad thing about this doc. is that it doesn't give the whole story, but its still great. however, simply stopping Kony won't be enough. you stop Kony someone else will take his place. obviously violence hasn't stopped anything, the past 22 years is evidence of that. to quote the late great john lennon, "why not give peace a chance."
rockthecasbah12345 4 years ago 2
they say 80% of the rebels army is composed of abducted children
so yea , no one knows what theyre doing or why
but the ones who werent abducted and did follow kony willingly
well yea , theyre the ones tht need to b stoppd
and the rest need help .
whic .... no ones really doing much of nowadays and we need to

Very hard to understand that way of thinking. When we were in Uganda in 2002. We heard a story about a person from the north that had a dog that barked too often. One day this person decided to teach this dog a lesson. He drove a nail through the dogs mouth from top to bottom.
