Crockett shouldn't have talked down to Ivan. Crockett showed poor American hospitality, continuing to interrupt Ivan during his interview time, even telling him to shut up. Poking Ivan was aggressive. Crockett looks nervous...he knew the sickle was coming! This was great, at 2:50. Check out Paul Jones. Priceless!

Holy cow....I remember this and to top it off when I was watching this the WPGH logo popped up! The Pittsburgh channel....thats the same channel I watched this on....WOW I watched this very thing on the same channel!
I personally liked Crockett and Monsoon a interviewers. Crockett would mumble a little but was really good. I remember rowing up and people would say Monsoon and Crockett were lousy announcers but after all these years, All people talk about how great they are. Maybe we should start appreciating what we have today so 25 years later nobody will bitch about it.

This was all David Crockett's idea to do this. The funny part of this is when they throw it up to the ring and #1 Paul Jones and The Barbarian (ball-bare-e-un) have a deer in the headlights look on their faces cause i don't think they know this was gonna happen. Schiavone almost seemed glad about the whole thing he does not seem to be worried at all. Hilarious!
I was never a Crockett fan so I didn't mind him taking a ride on the Sickle train. I couldn't see this happening to Gordon Solie or Mean Gene. Great story line during a great time in wrestling. Outstanding post.
Supposedly none of the other wrestlers knew that was gonna happen and they popped backstage because they thought it was a shoot!
