We also just passed a shoot first law on trespassers, since we are so close to Toledo. @ChowHallCommando I think it's a pretty good place to live, or at least grow up (don't live there any more). Pearson Park is a great asset, though Route 2/Navarre Avenue has become busy in recent years with A LOT of development.

@ChowHallCommando I've lived here for 17 years and the only real crime rate (which is pretty low) is the half mile area between wheeling and Toledo border. Everywhere else is nice. And as mentioned Navarre/Route 2 has developed, and parts of Oregon are on Woodville road which has some okay stuff left as well.

Oregon City Schools are always highly rated. We have two parks, Person and Maumee Bay State Park (where you can go swimming in Lake Erie or the man-made pond).

In short: Oregon rules
