The polystyrene was actually a simple cone shape from Hobbycraft, standing in for a Tau Drone Sentry Turret. I have since bought and painted four of them, so no more proxying!
Although, curiously enough, a different friend has made his own CNC machine and just started making models with it out of pink foam. Large scale, but impressive detail.

@Emidretrauqe ...and so little time! It gets worse - there's even an unpainted polystyrene stand-in for a Forgeworld model. Shouldn't be allowed.

But I have to say, that terrain piece is very nice.
