@jbeard82 - it's not worth all the hassle. it wasnt made for my exhaust, so the headers had to be fabricated to make it fit. then buy a PCIII and get a custom map. just get a Yoshi or Akra system

@jbeard82 i have a 2004 gixxer 600 and i bought a stock titanium header from a 2006 gixxer 1000. you can pick up this hot bodies tip for about $180 and you can pick up a used titanium header for anywhere from $110 to $180 on ebay. no fabrication needed, the stock header from the 1000cc bolts straight up to the block on our 600cc's. you can have a bad ass full system exhaust for as cheep as $300. make sure if you follow through that you purchase a power commander though.

hate to tell you buddy, but there isnt more throttle cable slack than what the service manual requires.

since the video, the throttle tube was replaced with a 1/5th turn tube off an 2004 R1. cable slack was adjusted to OEM specs.

Yep, not a straight pipe... it's a shortened pipe and tip that exits low on the bike but it does have a restrictor baffle designed to provide enough backpressure to maintain exhaust gas velocity.

i brought my bike to a shop that does custom tuning and mapping for power commanders. usually runs about $300 to do & is something you will definately need

power commanders are designed to correct the air/fuel ratios on your bike when you install aftermarket parts (exhaust, air filter, cams, etc). If you have a stock bike, save the $360 and dont bother.
