Even if the Gaga/Elton John version was nominated and it won, only the songwriters get the Oscar not the singer, otherwise to my calculations Madonna would have three. She has the third, not second highest. And the Grammys these days are screwed anyway, for example Beyonce didn't deserve those awards for that crappy album. I was just stating my opinion, not trying to start a fight.

Actually Kylie drew huge inspirations from Madonna. Sadly in the 90s she was dubbed Madonna Wannabe for having similar tour costumes with M. After that she progressed and even though not a big name in the USA, 25 years she is able to still make music. Any popstar can do the same with a bit of willpower. "Like a Virgin" song is an evergreen, not to mention "Material Girl", "Papa Don't Preach", "La Isla Bonita", "Into the Groove"... Classics for an export. Trust me, Gaga isn't even near to this result.
