$140 for a Spanish textbook? omfg. Funny thing about the papers...in HS they were telling us that we'd be doing a LOT of writing in college, so we did a LOT of writing in HS to prepare. I'd be lucky if I had to write five papers my entire first two years in college.

You're right though - despite the cool people you meet, it can be a pretty unforgiving environment.
