I love your hat Mr. Vai. You are a good sport. It's moments like this that capture your true peacefulness while in the creative stages. It is a true honor that you allow your fans to catch a slight glimpse of this :) Thank you
You can find the official, unripped, uncrappy version of this vid here: /watch?v=LW9-vqqiRVs. Additionally, he's not making "new stuff up." He's recording "The Moon and I;" something he wrote a long time ago.
Please tell Mr. Vai, if you may, that he is a huge inspiration on my musical philosophy and guitar playing. I pretty much find my self quoting myself when I write or make make music
Bro I cant tell you how cool that is... I met Steve in LA in 1986 when I went to GIT... I stopped playing for 18 years..... and just started to play a while ago because I saw a clip of steve accidentally .... he was the one of the only guitarists that made me feel it was ok to not do what everyone else was doing.. please pass on my kindest regards and Let Steve know his energy has rippled through time.
"we got caught a little bit..." lol a little bit? You had a full conversation with steve. Great video btw.

Great, another prick who has a DSLR and doesn't know how to focus it.
I wonder if these people have any idea how stale that look is now? Great job, you're boasting about not knowing how to use a camera properly.

Its amazing how someone as experienced as Steve Vai, is still learning new things all the time.
Just goes to show that music is really endless in the things you can learn.
