Each car company changes the name a little bit to be different...audi is "bi-turbo" ford is "dual-turbo" other people use "twin turbo"...bottom line there are two turbo's, and it all means the same thing.

well actually a twin is generally two of the same size mounted on each exhaust manifold. where the compound is a small and a big mounted together to help create quick boost off the line and high boost for when needed. :-).

and i dont think the dif locker is availible til 2011?.?.

you can have two types of twins which when there is one on each manifold its called parralel. when one is powering the other its called compound but both are twins

@mitsu3kgto Twin turbo is when there is one turbo for each bank of cylinders. This isn't the case for the 6.4. It has a small fixed vein turbo that feeds a larger variable geometry turbo.
