  • How can you compare Alphas to those crappy Zildjians? And who uses the bell on a china? I mean seriously.

  • Personaly i think the zildjian is better cuz it has a deep sound and it ends quickly both are great cymbals

  • 3rd

  • There is no proper way of playing a china, it's just personal preference.

  • You are just stupid.

  • Raining blood drum track :D

  • i bet u that was SCARY loud!

  • Paiste wins by a mile.

  • I do not use cheap cymbals but ZBT sounds much nicer and much beter than the Paiste!

  • @Acika032 WHAT FUCK DO YOU SAY.?? PAISTE ARE MID LEVEL , EHILE ZBT ARE FUCKING ENTRY LEVEL CYMBAL!

  • RAINING BLOOD!!!!!!!

  • A china isn't a fucking ride damn it! Why can't some ppl get that!?

  • @SuperAscension Some jazz drummers play the underside of chinas like a ride, some even add rivets to the cymbal. So yes, it can be played like a ride, but no it physically isn't a ride. Obviously.

  • Raining Blood <3

  • im a HUGE paiste fan i have the alpha on my set from the older line and i thought the zil, sounded just as good in the video well at least i LIKED the sound. alot.

  • regal tip sticks??

  • wkurwia mnie jak ktoś rideuje na wszystkich blachach. UDERZ W TO!

  • zildjian

  • Clearly Alpha wins.. It sounds like a better quality china and that alpha china is nice... Its not that i like paiste better.. Personally i own a 20" k ride 18" k dark thin crash 16" k dark thin crash and a pair of k 14" hats. They're absolutely beautiful.. but some paistes are better sounding than zildjian.

  • Zildjian anyday dude

  • oh my god that intro double bass was sloppy

  • @martyfischetti It was a bit sloppy. I assume though that you have a vid of yourself doing one less sloppy?

  • how much alpha china 18?

  • raining blooddddd!!!!!!

  • Dude turn the chinas over!!!

  • paiste alpha>that ugly rusted piece of shit

  • lol slayer

  • Playing the bell of the china like a boss.

  • Most useless video ever.

  • This is an unfaire compairison! ZBT is the shittest line of Zildjian but Alpha is a really good line of Paiste! soo its totally unfaire! but if u ask me the both aent that good, there nott trashy enough the snd like Crashes, go with a Zildjian Oriental China or a Wuhan

  • im not gonna lie. i have a paiste pst5 18" china and i think it sound a lot better than the alpha china, but that's just me

  • @bleedingorigins09 all cymbals that aren't miced sounds worst on camera than in person, almost

  • Raining Blood Rules. Great Drumming Of It.

For The Ones Who Dont Know Its The Drums At The Start

  • @UntitledMutt Fuck you your right. -.-

  • i feel like hes trying to insult paiste by comparing alpha to zbt are you serious plus paiste wins any day in my opinoin

  • @Deathmest

Its not really an insult hes comparing his old china cymbal to his new one

  • 1st - You are comparing ZBT with Alpha? -.-

    2nd - I hate upside down china's.

    4th - Theres no 3th.

  • @JoseMiSousa 3rd. *

  • @JoseMiSousa what's a 3th i thought it was 3rd :)

  • @RangerYunne i meant 3rd xd

  • @JoseMiSousa you obviously dont knowa china....that is the correct way to have them, but alot of people turn them upside down

  • @turtlekidlol i didn't say that was a right way to place a china, dude. it's a personal opinion, i personally prefer them upside down. think before you say anything. :) (sorry about the english.)

  • Raining Blood = Intro lol, nice.... double bass not fast enough

  • is it raining blood from elascerated skies already?

  • Comment removed

  • This is kinda unfaire Alpha is a higher line of Paiste and ZBT is the lowest line of Zildjian. soo obviously paiste would of won. and i use to acually have the same zildjian cymbal and it didnt sound nearly as good as the video.

  • Dave Lombardo would pick Paiste.

  • ZBT is better, both not great but if you listen closely the ZBT has hints of a Oriental China trash and that is a good thing.

  • so for a china you can play it either side up or down?

  • I preffer the ZBT, sounds like trash, just what i need.

  • This is like comparing apples to oranges. Clearly the Alpha would win. Alpha is a

mid-line cast bronze cymbal. While the ZBT is a low-end sheet bronze cymbal. Good video though.

  • PAISTE FTW :)

  • thumbs up for playing raining blood! :D

  • yes, it is RAINING BLOOD!

  • the intro was raining blood?

  • The intro track... Is it "Raining Blood" by Slayer?

  • the bell on the paiste sounds funny

  • If you're gonna do a china demo, play it both flange up and flange down...

  • thats true

  • zildjian is such generic shit =\

  • @joka5678 If you're going sheet bronze maybe

  • @joka5678 "zildjian ZBT/ZXT/ZHT is such generic shit"

    /fixed

Don't mean to get shitty with you, but Zildjian makes great quality CAST BRONZE cymbals. It's the sheet metal ones you want to avoid. That goes for Sabian's B8 cymbals, too, but I'm pretty sure you know that.

  • @moonodude17 I gotchya man ZBT B8's ive never had a good experience with is all that was based upon.

  • raining blood drum track? :P

  • Sabian

  • The Zildjian has such and annoying undertone.

  • Yeah if you don't flip china's upside down like you're supposed to then you will really mess up your sticks in a hurry.

  • A china can be played either way. And yes you can use it as it ride.

  • Ur supposed to flip the china upside down. but still paiste Alpha

  • Are you sure this isn't their new line of Tin Kan Chinas?

  • Id say PAISTE

  • i love zildjian but the alpha sounded so muck better that time.....

and ya retard, they were upside down and its noot bell were using its a CHINA.

read it on the oposite side if ur smart anough.

and theres no china`s in jazz if thats wat u were thinkin

  • @Cudder718 there can be just sublte smaller ones -_-

  • @Cudder718 there can be just smaller sublte ones -_-

  • @Cudder718 there are absolutely chinas in jazz. i love my 19in aax china as a ride, especially the bell. it adds a lot of color to a nice jazz lick. jazz musicians were using them long before metal was even around, please do your research next time. as a side note, don't limit yourself to playing something how it's "meant" to be played. you lose anything that might make you unique as a musician. even in metal, if the sound fits, theres no reason not to flip your crashes over or ride your china

  • PAISTE ALL DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i rawk!!!

  • or right side up. whatever haha

  • mother fucker thats a china not a ride, treat it like a china and flip it upside down

  • I love Paiste's Alphas, but the Alpha chinas sound like shit.

  • This video doesn't do either of these china's justice! Try them out yourself at guitar center or something guys...

  • is that raining blood what ur playing?? :D

  • Sounds pretty much the same as PST5 but this is slightly better.

  • I own the zbt china and i love the sound because has a really good cut sound that a china needs to have, just love it!!!

  • SABIAN!

  • SABIAN!

  • Flip them over cause your just gonna dent the hell out of the edge of your chinas. They may work like this for 90 year old jazz drummers but look at any pro metal or rock drummer. Not one of them has it set up like this for a reason.

  • the zildijan zbt is amazing! im new to drumming. can someone give me the info for this cymbal? like the size, china, etc? thanks

  • @ironicwin the china is 18" in size and its thin compared to like Zildjian ZBT rock crashes

first of all, when you first buy it, you will be like "sounds like shit" or like "I should return it" but after you break it in after a while, it will sound better

I know cause I myself use it

  • @jesse17ful how long does it take to break in?

  • @ironicwin that i dont know cause i took a while but it does sound good

if you want a china cymbal that sounds great the first day you buy it, then you should go with a WUHAN

  • my zbt is in the coming mail! =)

  • RAINING BLOOD!!!!!

  • invert it dude, it wont crack as fast

  • If I'm not mistaken, the beginning is Angel of Death by Slayer? Anyway, I personally like the Paiste sound more. Thanks for uploading.

  • @Bogadodo12 raining blood

  • why my new zbt 18 china is not the same as yours? .

  • @skah07 The microphone distorts(changes) the sound. If you got 3 different cameras and record the sound of a cymbal, all 3 will have different sounds if you replay the tape.

  • @joshuachan56 ah thanks .. but i already hear the sound of my cymbal on my camera and it sounds awesome ..

  • wicked intro

  • paiste

  • Zildjiaiste

  • the zildjian has more of that trashy sound, i like it better

  • @thekidofpt1 me too

  • hands down its the zildjian, ive used all types of cymbals and i still love the zildjian sound, how i see it is each one has their strengths and weaknesses, but zildjians have been around since like the 1600's so therefor they have to be the best, otherwise they'd have tanked under by now

  • where did you get the raining blood drum track?

  • aren't chinas supposed to be set up upside down?

  • @BrianWilson720 they can go both ways

  • @TheDrummingMexican96 like a bisexual

  • @metalgeek420 ummmm.... yeah...... sure.....

  • @metalgeek420 I'd like a bisexual

  • @BrianWilson720 That's actually the traditional way of setting them, although both ways are used and acceptible.

  • UMMM No!! DEFINITELY ZILDJIAN!!! PAISTE CYMBALS ARE JUST TOO! CHEAP!

  • @mutilation66six Uhmm.... I listened again, and I noticed I actually DO like this China XD. But you must admit, the Zildjian Pitch Black China is probably the worst cymbal ever (I think).

  • @soadfan589 WELL AWEFUL SOUND THAT PAISTE!....OH AND I CANT GIVE YOU MY OPINION ON THE PITCH BLACK IVE NEVER HEARD IT!

  • Zildjan is better. paiste sucks.

  • i have the Paiste alpha rock china 18'' only for 170$

    sick! its a great china!!

  • This is an unfair comparison you picked the shitiest zildjian cymbal you can get, and plus if you compare the best zildjian against the best paiste, zildjian would blow paiste out of the water. Paiste suck dick !!

  • Paiste is the winner of course

  • if your going to compare paiste to zildjian... do paiste 101 to zildjian A series. and zildjian MAY have a chance.

  • @glitchhacker101 Actually, Zildjian would still not have a chance :P PAISTE RULES!

I mean, listen to the Alphas, RUDES, and Signatures (especially the Reflector Heavy Full Crashes), and it's quite clear that they are THE best.

    Have a nice day

  • @soadfan589 I DISAGREE HEAR THE PAISTE! IT ACTUALLY HAS A AWFUL SOUND!

  • @mutilation66six Well, I must admit, the Alpha Rock China isn't THAT good. But I own the 18" China (not Rock China), which is totally amazing!

  • How could you even compare these??? Zbt's are total shit. Just sayin'. If you're gonna compare a Zbt to a Paiste line, use a Paiste 101 Brass china or Pst 3 or something.

  • You ruin the cymbals if you have them that way round,

And your sticks, use it the other way dude,

Other than that, I think the winner is zildjian

    :-)

  • You're supposed to mount your china's upside down.. Doesn't look right in the video.

  • @laszlof thats how it was originally meant to play, but some awesome drummer was like hey, it sounds SO MUCH BETTER upside down! (open faced)

  • @DJmixmaster7 no ? dude it sounds exactly the same ! it just feels more natural to pplay open faced

  • @TheDrummingMexican96 if you hit open faced it lasts alot longer but it sounds alot better when you dont hit it with the tip of a stick

  • Zildjian wins

  • I dont know how about you ... but for me, the zildjian sounds better, its more Dark and Trashy !

  • omg dood! your gonna break the shit!!
